I have been hesitating about posting this for days now. But this is the second thread wondering where Steph is. If I get banned for "telling" so be it.

Venting about work? If you don't want to tell, I understand, but it sure is not very nice to forward unless she is slandering the company I guess. Everybody complains about their boss though.

I'm disgusted with that "kind soul". Poor Steph.

I thought she was upset about her custody battle and legal costs and then it turned into a "send her a dollar" thing. Why would someone forward that to her boss? It has absolutely nothing to do with her job

Am I correct on the thread in question or did I miss something??

Someone sent the thread to her boss? How rude is that?! It was only a thread about the custody issues, not work! She's allowed to have a life, isn't she? I'm getting really tired of all the nastiness here too. This really stinks! I miss Steph and I hope she's doing okay.

The thread was about her custody battle. But I guess someone interpreted it as asking for money ( on a Disney board ), and decided to let her employers ( Disney ) know. Fortunately Disney took the stance that what she does when she is not at work is her own business.

I suggest that anyone wanting to get in touch with her try emailing her. At least she can let you know where she is posting now.

Well, I hope Steph is doing ok. We miss you Steph and one day I will make it to the AKL to say hi.

As far as the CB, it is getting way out of hand. Just the other day I read a thread and a CM was getting flamed for answering a question regarding if WDW was busy between Thanksgiving and Christmas. whats up with that. They need to bring the debate board back so the trouble makers have some place to go and leave nice people like Steph alone.

OMG! I had been wondering where she was wonder and how she and Maddie were doing. I know for certain Steph didn't ask anyone for money. If I would have known that it would have gotten her into trouble I would have never have said that I was willing to help! I feel horrible now! Someone had suggested a way for her to earn money. I think it was something that could be printed out and be sold for a dollar. I said I certainly would give a a few bucks for that. She said that wasn't why she was posting and wasn't asking for money! And she wasn't!

If I would have known that someone would try to get her in trouble or that she would be possibly banned for this I would have kept my mouth shut! I only honestly wanted to try and help! I have a big heart especially when it comes to animals and children. If anyone hears from Steph please let her know that I am so sorry!

I'm sorry. But that particular thread had absolutely nothing to do with the Debate Board or most of the people who frequented it.

I know it has been said many times, but this constant blaming of DB regulars for anything negative or controversial posted on this board is simply wrong. It is also hateful.

I've been posting on the CB as well as the old DB since 2001. The Community Board has never been a pure Pixie Dust board and there are many people who prefer it that way.

Steph was spunky and some folks questioned some of her stories, but I always read what she had to say and thought she was a nice person, just like any of us regulars on the CB. I like her and feel bad for her regarding her custody battle. Boy, I guess things ARE different around here...bums me out

I have no idea what happened to Steph. I wasn't here when I understand there was controversy about one of her threads.

But I do know you didn't do anything wrong or bad by her. Offering your help was a kind thing to do; don't feel bad about that or like you need to apologize. You are a very nice person--I've noticed that about you in many posts.

You honestly have nothing to feel sorry about. None of her friends did anything wrong at all. Who could fathom that anyone would take advantage of someone's problems like that and use it to be so hurtful?

I agree! I've been posting on both boards for nearly two years now and honestly, I've seen the CB get much nastier than the DB.

As for Steph... *shrug* People have forwarded threads to Disney on at least two other cast members that I know of - one who was fired and another who was reprimanded. I believe people warned Steph to lie low because of that.

I just dont get why people feel the need to forward threads to employees! I hope they never have to worry about losing a job due to what some people "feel" should be told to the "proper" people. Give me a break!

People are entitled to have a life and enjoy things, vent about things, etc. I just dont get it.
