Where's Shepherd Smith?

I didn't know he was divorced. Does he have kids? I figured he was married to his career. I watched his "bio video" on the Fox website and he said that he and Rick Leventhal shared a house on Long Island one summer. Maybe it was for rest and relaxation or for one huge party! (not sure - he didn't really say)

He's not on Studio B today and on the Fox Report last night he said he would be so I wonder if he is going to North Carolina to cover Ophelia.

Yeah me too. I am watching him on the Fox Report right now. Did you see him during Brit Hume? He was giving an update for the Fox Report and had a little coughing fit. He said some days things go well and some days they don't and then he said he would get some water before the Fox Report. I couldn't help but laugh. He gave his cute little smile then too.

Last night his cap blew right off his head! Looked like he was going to blow away for a minute. Glad to see him around covering Rita.

I was watching this at my in-laws house last night and frankly it was one of the funniest things I have ever seen. I watched for about an hour and he lost four hats and one time it did blow him over. He was trying to talk into the mike with the blowing rain and fierce wind and his face was all pinched up up. We were all laughing at him trying to interview someone.

Not only did has hat fly off his head at least 3 times but he also fell down. He got right back up so he wasn't hurt.

Darn, I missed all that. Had to go to our school's homecoming football game to help with the marching band. I kept checking my watch to see if I would make it back for his two hour special but the game took forever!
