Where's Remy?

I've been looking through this thread, but I couldn't tell if he's still at Chefs de France or if he has left for good. Can someone tell me if you have seen him recently. We have reservations at 4:50 on Jan 8th. Thanks!

I believe he is still at Chefs de France, but he has always only been there for lunch and I believe lunch ends just before 4.

12:30, 1:40, 2:50 & 5:20 Monday through Saturday

Just to clarify, Remy makes the rounds of Les Chefs de France. Most of his times are during lunch, but the last round (5:20 pm) is during dinner.

Be aware that he makes a circuit of the tables once per time, so if you aren't at your table, seated, etc when he comes by, he doesn't come back and people are not encouraged to get up and approach him (unless you're at a table he cannot physically get to for some reason).

the 5:20 round is the only round he makes during dinner hours.

Be advised if you're thinking of booking primarily to see him that he doesn't appear on Sundays.

We love love loved him! I was so worried we wouldn't see him, but about an hour into our meal he appeared.

The CM who brought him around the time we saw Remy was quite entertaining. The whole show (a few minutes) made our lunch that day. It was fun seeing the CM surprise people in the dining room who had no clue about Remy or what to expect. Seeing the children's faces light up brought much happiness to the room. Great Magical Moment!

My parents had a 4:50 ADR and they also saw Remy for dinner!

1) Make sure you are 20-30 minutes early for your ADR.
2) At that hour, ressies run late.
3) If you miss Remy WHILE SEATED AT YOUR TABLE,
. . . he does not circle back to a table
. . . you cannot go over to him at another table
. . . you are not allowed to go find him

We were sat early at about 5:05PM on the 15th and barely saw him... our section was the last for the day too so Im not sure how stringent they are on the listed times. Definitely a cutie though!

We were there for a 5:30 ADR on Dec 3rd and in the loby on the way to be seated the hostess asked the kids if they had ever met the chef before. The kids said no and then all of a sudden Remy made a surprise showing for just the kids in the lobby.

He was awesome but I believe he was heading home after a long shift in the kitchen. Perhaps if he was cooking the night shift my meal would have been better.

saw him on monday for lunch. ADR for 1:20 but arrived at 1:30 (bf made us late and i was scared he was going to miss remy, as he loves ratatouille and had no idea remy was there). we finished our apps and were on our entrees when he came around
