Where's Motherfletcher?

Well guys...I've noticed a major lack of posts from the witty Motherfletcher (even though I, myself, haven't been on much lately. I checked his profile and saw his last post was during the Ride Tips thread...one where we argued about what tips we posted online. I certainly hope we didn't make him uncomfortable on the boards, and now I wonder if it was appropriate to "attack" him on the public boards (as oppose to just kindly asking him via private message). I certainly hope I did not offend Motherfletcher, for that was not my intention.

Wow! I missed that thread - what happened? I love Motherfletcher's posts, he is a riot! And I can't imagine anyone on these boards "attacking" anyone - the Universal boards are so warm and fuzzy.

Fly fly, that post was all in fun. I don't think anyone took it seriously. I'm sure MotherFletcher is just away or busy or something.

well, I think "attacked" is too strong of a word. But here's basically what happened:

Motherfletcher started a thread in which everyone would post ride tips. His very first BIG tip was using the Baby Swap at Men in Black. Phamton, myself, and a couple others asked him to take it off because it is not a good tip to advertise to the general public. He got offended that we were against his tip, saying that the DISboards are made to help people. We came back arguing our perspective on the issue. He also kinda made a statement like my parents and I did wrong by not waiting for everyone to leave the unloading platform when we got back in line (when I told him many people followed us one time). Just wasn't a very happy thread....that was back in beginning of January. If you look up Motherfletcher's profile, his last post was in the exact thread. I'm glad you posted this, Fly Fly, because I too was feeling really bad knowing that since that thread he has not been on the boards. Maybe it's just because he's recently returned from his Universal vacation and is not in trip-planning mode for his next one yet? I know sometimes when I don't have a trip planned, I don't tend to come on the DIS Boards anymore until I know that a vacation is in the works again.... just a thought..... I was so proud of him for working up enough courage to ride Kraken with his kids - what a great dad! - and I sincerely hopes he returns once again to the DIS.
