Where Would You Register?

I am the last of ALL of my firends (and most of my cousins -- and I'm the oldest grandchild) to get married. So I have heard all the rants and rave sabout registries from my friends. Target is the WORST registry ever. Not a single one of my friends had a good experience therecluding the most recent bride who got married in November. They have the worst return policy! First of all, you are only allowed to return 2 things. 2 total. That is with receipt or without. And even with receipt you are still only going to get it for the lowest price it has been in like 90 days (think about ALL Of that stuff Target has had on sale the past 3 months). Also, they have a super-fast merchandise turnover. So even if you register for a bed set you love today that doesn't mean it will be there in 2 weeks. Also their registry updates reallys low. So imagine that bed set again. You get 2 comforters at a shower a month from now. You go to return one and guess what? It's been cleared out. Lowest price was say $10 -- that's all you get for it. And you are now out 1 return of 2!

Everyone I know has loved Bed, Bath and Beyond and Kohl's. Only 1 couple I know registered at Williams-Sonoma and they loved it. I've also heard good things about Crate & Barrell and Bloomingdale's. Macy's has gotten mixed reviews. If you're thiking of registerings omeplace I recommend going to weddingchannel.com's message boards for registries and ask if anyone had used it and what their experiences were. You'll get really good responses and usually pretty fast!

Good luck!
