Where would you like to see a DVC resort next?

I mean, aside from the Disney parks. Where in the U.S. (or in the world) would you like to see Disney build a DVC resort after Hawaii?

I would love them to build a classic style sea-side resort in the Cape Cod or Martha's Vineyard area...one that would really flow well with the rest of the town's scenery.

You took the words right our of my DHs' mouth :thumbsup2

I like the way you think, Tigger!

For me, I would love to stay at a DVC resort somewhere between the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and Zion National Park. Southwestern architecture, obviously, with Disney-operated day trips for horseback riding, rock climbing, mountain biking, and white water rafting (in season). On rest/recovery/heal up days, we could lounge by the pool, read on the verandah, and eat really well. Throw in day trips to the National Parks and that would make me a happy camper. :-)

I'd like to see one in the upper midwest. Maybe with some sort of connection to the Mall of America. That's the only US destination that draws more people than Disney World in a year. Of course, I would also like to see Disney running the Park at the Mall of America. It used to be a Knotts park, but a couple years ago was bought by Universal, and I don't like what they did to it.

Sorry, I'm sticking with Disney locations: Disney Tokyo and Disney Hong Kong, please.

:woohoo:I would love this too!! Can't wait to take my kids out west someday and if it was with DVC, it'd be all the better!:cloud9:

Time for something else out west. On the coast, Arizona, CO. Or maybe around Jackson Hole or something that could tie in to Yellowstone and skiing in the winter.

I would also like to see one near ski area's as we have tried to use RCI for a ski vacation with no luck, either out west or even some where in New England states.

First choice - someplace like Lake Tahoe so there would be skiing in winter & lake vacations in summer... Second choice - the Caribbean Third choice - Asia

My first choice is still near MOA, but I'd put a second choice of the Candian Rockies....Maybe near Banff or Lake Louise

Diane,

Years ago, we booked RCI Getaway weeks into Canmore, BC. Canmore is a cute little town just outside Banff Park gates and often used by filming crews. We loved it! Spent 10 days exploring Banff, Lake Louise, Radium Hot Springs, and Panorama. We were there in winter enjoying snow shoeing, ice walking, snowmobiling, both downhill and cross-country skiing and soaking in the hot springs. What a really great area!

Worldmark has a new'ish resort in that area -- you might want to give it a try?
