Where would you go for a 1st birthday?

Our DS will be turning 1 during our October trip to Disney. We currently have a PS for the Hoop Dee Doo (my favorite!) for his actual birthday, but I was wondering what your suggestions would be for a great 1st birthday celebration?

I don't really have an answer, although Crystal Palace with Pooh sounds cool. I did want to tell you that if you are thinking about getting his hair cute, the Barber on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom makes a wonderfully big deal about first hair cuts! My Daughter was 10 months old when we did it. She didn't have a whole lot of hair, but they trimmed a little and gave me a lock to keep. They also gave us a certificate and mickey ears that said "First Haircut" on the back.

I was just going to post the same thing about the first haircut at the barbershop! My son will be 16 months when we go and we are planning to do this also. He doesn't have a lot of hair now, but I'm sure he will be ready for a cut by then.

I think chef Mickeys would be alot of fun for a 1yro boy. In december we are taking my neice's twin girls to 1900 park fare for dinner to celebrate their 1 year birthday. My DSIS will be ordering a birthday cake. I'm not sure yet where she will get the cake, probably the boardwalk bakery. Where ever you decide to go make sure you mention it when making the ps and again when you are seated for dinner. What better way to celebrate a 1st birthday then being at disney. Susan
