I am getting married at 11am on Wed, April 28th at Sea Breeze point on the boardwalk. It will just be the two of us and were planning something low-key. For the honeymoon we are going 'goldplan' 2 days after the wedding and are planning on eating at all the great places (citricos, narcoosses, cali grill, etc...) then.
What I was thinking was having an after wedding dessert at Beaches and Cream, then going back to the hotel (the GF) and having a tea. For dinner I have no idea! Any ideas, or any other ideas for the whole day?
Thanks!

Congratulations. We will be there at the same time also. Not quite sure I understand-does your gold plan come into effect the next day, or are you just asking which retaurant would be better on your wedding day.

well since it is gonna be a very special day, how about ending it w/dinner at victoria and albert's at GF? or perhaps either artist point at WL or jiko at AKL. congratulations to you all!!

we have the wedding package at the GF (no food included) until the 30th of April then off to the POR till 5th of May. Our POR stay will have the gold plan.
We were thinking of V and A, but we are sooooo picky and vegetarian (and the expense!)we thought we'd just go some where smaller, but romanctic and get our eat on the other half of the trip with the gold. I'm planning on gaining some weight with the gold plan. Any nicer cheap places to eat?

I have not been to many of the nicer places but we do like LeCellier.

Thanks for all the help!
Even a counter service with okay food near a romantic spot to eat it at would be great. We're spending a load, and want to save on food the first 4 days.
Start of the trip is nice hotel, cheaper food, and of course the wedding. SEcond half is pigging out and staying at the POR and activities (parasailing, watermice, etc...) If you see us there say hi! We're both short and will probably be wearing the dorky veil and top hat mouse ears :)

Congratulations and I hope your wedding plans go smoothly. Good luck w/ all of the plans!!

I think it is kind of hard to find quiet and romantic in the parks with all the kids and families. The highlight of our August trip was outside seating at the Rose and Crown and watching Illuminations. I"m sure if you let them know at the podium you just got married, they could work some magic.

Well I was going to suggest the California Grill for dinner timed to be there during the fireworks but I don't think the CG qualifies at cheap.

We really enjoyed Spoodles there on the Boardwalk. I am not sure I would call it romantic but it was not too pricey as far as WDW goes and the food was good.

You mentioned vegetarian, but not your choices. I've read wonderful reviews of Artist Point for meals, but that can be a bit pricier. If you wanted to really do something economical and wonderful I would get some fruit, cheese, veggies and maybe pick up a loaf of fresh bread either in France or at Boardwalk Bakery and make your own picnic. You can head down to a beach, maybe with a view of the Wedding Pavillion or Poly, drink a little wine, have some food and watch the boat go between MK and TTC and catch the water pagent. Don't know if you'll have a fridge or not, but I'm positive you can pick up bricks of cheese at the general store at Boardwalk, as well as some whole fruit which you can cut up on the beach. Maybe when you get the bread you can pick up some good pastry too? Hmmm... Maybe I need to plan somethin along these lines for our next trip!
