The title says it all. ;)

We're for sure heading back to the world September 28 - October 5, 2011. (I know, I know.. another year away... so sad!)

But! I'm 16 weeks pregnant (today!) and we'll be taking our first family trip with the 4 of us next year.

So, back to my original question. We're looking to arrive on September 28th and I'm 99% sure I want to eat at Chef Mickey's that night.

Our first FULL day in Disney will be my 24th birthday (Jake will have turned 4 years old a week before, the 23rd). Where would you eat dinner that night?

There are so many places I'd love to eat, but I have to take into account that we'll have a 4 year old and 6/7 month old with us.

I'd love to hear your opinions!

I celebrated my birthday in the World last year (Sept. 28) and I put my celebration on most of our ressies. On my actual b-day, we went to Crystal Palace breakfast, but we also celebrated at Akershus, CRT, Chef Mickey's & 'Ohana dinner. Chef Mickey's was a fun place and I liked CRT. We had young kids so lots of character meals. If it were just DH&I, probably Le Cellier, the food was great.

Congrats! I am 11 weeks today. There are many places I would love to try, but since my (week late) birthday trip this year is only for Cirque, we are doing Raglan Road.

We were at Disney on my last birthday. I ate at The Wave. The food was very good, my kids were awful. LOL. They are generally great in restaurants, but I think they were overstimulated or something - we had no issues at any of our other meals though. Anyhow, I wish I had picked a different restaurant if only because my kids just didn't feel like sitting still for some reason.

I would pick someplace that has some entertainment for the kids, so everyone has fun. I'm thinking that Coral Reef would be a good choice. We enjoyed our meal there and the kids liked the tank. Another good option is Sanaa because the kids can see the animals. We haven't gone yet - trying it this time - but Ohana may be a good pick too. My birthday (and DH's birthday, which was the week before) was on all of our ressies though, so they made a big deal of it at several places.

I'm turning 40 at the California Grill in 3 weeks :)

We just got back from Disney. We celebrated my birthday at the California Grill. We are going back in December to celebrate my husbands birthday. We will be back at the California Grill for dinner and Via Nopoli for lunch.

I usually sped my birthday at WDW and have had dinner at the Rose & Crown, Biergarten, and Narcoossee's. Missed this year because it was too soon after my knee replacement, but I'm making up for it. :thumbsup2

I ate at Tony's last June for my 40th. Big mistake..HUGE mistake. :sad2:

Given a 'do over'...based on experience I would have breakfast at Tusker House, lunch at Columbia Harbour House then dinner at Kona. ;)

I enjoyed celebrating my birthday...breakfast at the castle (CRT) and dinner at Narcoossee's (we had an early dinner b/c we had our 2 1/2 son...he loved it b/c he was watching the boats and monorail go by while we ate.)

With the kids I would chosse Chefs de France. then watch IllumiNations.

Napa Rose as I'm usually in Disneyland on or around my birthday.

Seriously, though, for a celebratory meal with a group, I'd choose Kouzzina. For a romantic dinner for two, Jiko. I don't have kids, however, so my subjective Disney World view may not suit your family.

for me it would be Ohanas

We loved Ohana for breakfast. I think we definitely need to do a dinner here one night!

Yes! Sounds like us! I think we ended up doing every character meal last trip because Jake became so obsessed. Haha :goodvibes

Aw, congratulations girl! I've heard great things about Raglan Road and I've always wanted to try it out.

Don't you love when they act like that at a restaurant? Jake is known to do that at times! :headache:

Oh, I didn't even think about Coral Reef! The kids would definitely like the huge tank! Thanks!

Lucky! That's going to be a great dinner! I've always wanted to try out CG, but I want to do it when I won't have the kids with me.

I definitely want to eat at California Grill one time, but I think I really want to do it without the kids so I can fully enjoy it without having to try and control someone every 5 seconds ;)

Mmm, Via Napoli is the new Italian restaurant right? YUM!

La Hacienda!! We have reservations for my b-day already:cool1:

I love me some Mexican food! Definitely putting this on our list of places to try!

Is your knee doing better now? Biergarten seems like fun!

O'hanas or maybe Fulton's....any place really as long as I'm at Disney.

So true!

Kona is so delicious! Love it!

Easy for me...Ohanas.

Another vote for Ohana!

Sounds like a perfect day!

Have ressies for my 40th at Flying Fish!

Yummmm!

That's a good idea! We love all the fireworks!

What did you order at Kouzzina? It sounds interesting! :)

No question about it - VIA NAPOLI! It's my new favorite!!

I've heard so many things about this place! I want to go look up the menu right now! :thumbsup2
