Here are the details. I need a table service meal (1 credit). It is me, DH, DD6 and DD4. Where should we eat on the Saturday of our stay? We are staying at BCV. We are going to DHS in the morning. I don't know if we will stay all day. I want a lunch or a dinner. It is during Food and Wine. Should I do lunch at DHS, if so where? I could make dinner reservations for Akershus (there is/was a 5pm), but Epcot is predicted to be an 8 that day, and I don't know if venturing in for dinner is the right idea. Will it be too crazy? Or should we eat at the BC/YC/BW somewhere??

I currently have Chef Mickey's booked, but I switched resorts and now don't want to make the trek over to CR just for dinner.

We have breakfast at Tusker House on Sunday and Cape May on Monday.

Right now, I have Akershus booked for lunch on Friday, but could switch to Saturday.

Try for Prime Time at DHS. Sci Fi is also fun, but probably not a good use of the DP.

If you prefer Epcot, you can try to get LeCellier for lunch (only 1 TC for lunch). We also like Teppan Edo and Les Chefs de France. If you like Mexican, try for San Angel Inn.

Have a wonderful vacation.

Epcot dinner I'd go with Hacienda, Akeroush, Wave or chefs.

With 2 girls I'd opt for Akershus. The princess thing is fantastic and last time we were there (Feb. 2011) the princesses did a parade with all the little princesses. The little girls were :cloud9::cloud9:
Since you'll be at HS you can take the boat and come in the back way via International Gate and then take the ferry across to Norway (dock is very close). If you are only going for lunch I wouldn't worry about the crowds. If you want to eat at HS Hollywood & Vine has a character meal, Sci-Fi is fun but really we avoid eating anything other than snacks at HS, Teppan Edo is basically Benihana, but the kids seem to like the show. You could also try Marrakesh, little girls are generally entranced by the belly dancers, hand washing and mint tea

The weekend evenings at Epcot during F&W get busy with people coming in for the festival, but if your primary goal is to eat at a TS restaurant and not sample the F&W, then I wouldn't worry about how busy it is at Epcot. So if you think dinner at Akershus would be something your family would want to do, then I would go ahead and book it! :)

As others have said, over at DHS, Sci Fi is fun, but not a really good use of a credit. Other than that, I tend to only snack at DHS and have full meals over at Epcot.

I think that we will just go in for dinner and then back to BCV. I think that we'll have plenty of other time to explore Epcot, so this would really just be for dinner.
