Where would you eat in WS w/4 kids?

We are trying to decide on a place to eat on a Sat. night in January. It will be me and my SIL taking the four kids (9,6,5,3) out to dinner while the men go to bed for the marathon the next day. We are thinking of walking to the WS since we are staying at the BCV. We originally thought of going to LTT but decided against it since Sat. nights tend to be crowded in the off season since often it is the only night for Spectromagic or closes early. We thought Epcot or the Boardwalk would be a great/easy choice. We do not want to eat at Cape May Cafe and we are already eating at Chef's earlier in the week. The only other places we have eaten are Mexico and Japan and would like to try something new. My nephew has severe nut allergies, but so far every place has been very accomodating so not a big concern. Any suggestions?

Morrocco would be a good choice. Beaches & Cream might also be a good one. Another thought is Whispering Canyon at WL.

The only place I would say to eat in World Showcase with young children is the fast food place located next to The American Adventure. The next thing I would think of is to walk a little bit more, and go to The Land pavillion food court, but I heard that it may be closing down soon.

It's not the world showcase, but had you considered the Character dinner at the Garden Grill in the Land pavillion? It's also served family style like LTT. Farmer Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Chip & Dale were all lots of fun. You'll still be able to stroll back to the BCV at the end of the evening.

I second the vote for Teppanyaki. My girls loved this restaurant and still talk about it.

The only restaurant my 5 and 6 year old really want to go back to is Le Cellier.

They also would like to go to Teppenyaki again. They remember the volcano from San Angel Inn and eating "outside" at the Biergarten (although I wouldn't do a buffet with that many little ones and not more adults). They remember the belly dancer in Morrocco, too.

If you want casual sit down - Spoodles might be a good choice as well.

For your group I would recommend Biergarten. The food is really good, and the kids will also enjoy the entertainment. My son has a severe nut allergy, and the chef came out and guided us through the buffet to let us know what he couldn't have. Pretty much, it was just the breads and desserts. The greatest thing was that at dessert time, the chef came out again and brought my son the hugest slab of homemade ice cream we have ever seen. Of course, we had to share with him (the three of us could barely put a dent in it) and it was the best ice cream we have ever had. I would say this is a very kid-friendly and allergy-friendly place to go.

I would go with Garden Grill, and then a stroll back through WS to see Illuminations. I'm not big on having to get up and get food with that many young ones - seems like you never get to just eat. I don't recall anything that had nut problems there, but you can call ahead and ask, and I'm sure the chef is very helpful. Teppanyaki would be another yummy choice that will have lots of safe food choices, the kids "Donald Duck chicken" was a great meal, my 2 & 4 year old girls shared it, and had plenty of food to eat and more left at the end.

We just got back and had a 2 adult, 4 kid meal at San Angel Inn, the restaurant in the Mexico pavillion. My kids and I left DH at home and met up with a girlfriend and her kids there for a get together. We had the 2 of us, two 4 year olds and 2 two year olds. This was the meal where we probably got the most to eat the whole week. All the kids were happy and well behaved through the meal. We requested a table overlooking the river of time ride and they had a great time waving at the people riding the boats. The dim lighting seemed to keep everyone calm too.

I've also done the Moroccan restuarant with a lot of kids and they enjoyed that too. The bellydancer kept them quite entertained. The drawback here is that if they are picky eaters, it's harder to find something for them to eat.

Beaches and Cream would be good for casual dining but be aware that you can't make a PS and it's not a big place so for a table for that many people, you may have a bit of a wait.

My extremely picky eaters loved the restaurant in Norway. Of course they wouldn't try the typical Norwegian food which DH and I loved, but they enjoyed the meatballs, mac and cheese and turkey sandwiches.
