Where would you eat for your birthday?

I have to choose where I want to have my B-day dinner. (12/15)

My last birthday, we ate at Coral Reef & I loved it, but I want something different.

If we stick with the touring plan I have now, we'll be in either Hollywood Studios or Epcot. Dinner has to be on the early side as we have a toddler and baby to consider.

I have an ADR at Biergarten right now and one at 50's and want to cancel one (or both) asap.

There is also availability at Hoop-Dee-Do for my birthday night at 5pm, and if the weather was nice we could do the campfire/movie after. There are a ton of restaurants open that night for dinner, I just don't know where to go!!

I will eat any type of food. I just want something fun and special for my birthday dinner. :woohoo:

We celebrated our Bday last year at 50's Primetime. Our waitress was really good and everyone around us sang Happy Bday and she gave us both cupcakes and cards.
We are going this year again on our Bday and I wanted to eat at CRT but can't talk the DH into it.
One time when I went to Disney with my BGF they sang Happy Bday to her in french at LeChefs, no cupcake though.

I think 50's Prime Time is a great family-friendly choice. It's fun and different but yet it isn't a character experience.

My son also enjoyed Teppan Edo as a toddler. The food is very good and the "show" is great but in my opinion the food is not as kid-friendly as 50's Prime Time.

Biergarten is a good choice with kids because it is a buffet and the kids can "dance" but I don't think it's as special as 50's for an unusual birthday dinner.

Happy Birthday!

If you make your reservation around 5, you will see Remy at 520 (as long as he is working) he takes a cute tour of the restaurant but dosent go back if he misses you table, so get there before he starts!

Just took our 2.5 yo and 3 months old and it was great!!

Ask for Lidio, he was the best waiter!!

I think Biergarten would be fun for a birthday! I love the festive atmosphere there!

I LOVE Biergarten. It depends on what kind of meal you want - it definitely won't be intimate or quiet! I went to The Wave at the Contemporary for my last birthday and enjoyed it. It's not on my list for return at this time, but I *would* go back there. However we are returning to Biergarten as it was a fun, raucus party for the family.

I like your idea of doing the Hoop De Doo/campfire/movie. You can make a whole night of it. Plus, you'll get to see all the incredible Christmas decorations that people put up at their campsites. It would mean leaving the parks a little early, but I think it would be worth it. ::MinnieMo
