OK, I have a problem. I leave in two weeks and have no ADR's :scared1: Not becaused I slacked off, I only booked my trip 2 days ago.

The big problem is where to dine...(or find out IF I can dine)

We will definatly try for CG, and I was recomended CapeMay for breakfast, and I would like to do one other Dinner. I should mention that we are not big eaters, but we like good food (not big into counter service and casual dining), and the only way we'll do a dinner buffet is if it's wayyyy over the top (we're talking Wynn Las Vegas here). Any suggestions? I bet at this point I should just take what Disney can give me...

Thanks!

I was shocked we booked a trip just over a month away and we got everything we wanted. It is definitely worth a shot, I was surprised hopefully you will be too.

Based on what you said I recommend CG, Artist Point, LeCellier, Kona And Spoodles. I would recommend Kona for breakfast (macadamia nut pancakes and pressed coffee are delicious), not Cape May!

Good luck, and bon appetite!!

I was recomended CapeMay for breakfast

I've never been there for breakfast, but their dinner was AWFUL! You might want to reconsider. I agree about Kona's; it's amazing. I've never been there for breakfast either, but their dinner is my favorite. That's where I had my bday dinner last year!

I agree to try for Kona instead of Cape May. We ate breakfats and Cape May and enjoyed it, there wasn't anything wrong with it. However, it was just a buffet, which you aren't big on. Kona is excellent for breakfast.

We do a lot of last minute trips and have been successful in getting what I want when I want, except for places like Chef Mickeys or Le Cellier.

Kona and Cape May for breakfast are great!

Loved, loved Spoodles. But the Grand Floridian Cafe is our favorite. Try going there for lunch. The portions are large and the atmosphere a little less casual. The fondu dessert is unbeliavable!!

DTD I would say try House of Blues for a great Shrimp Po-Boy and the the Voo-Doo Shrimp are great.:goodvibes :goodvibes

It sounds to me that you like Fine Dining with good food.
I suggest you try Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Yacht Club. Have to wear pants and collared shirt to dine here, no t-shirts or shorts. We had impeccable service and the food was great. Expensive, but isn't that what you expect at Disney's Deluxe Resorts?

My husband said I should mention Victoria & Albert's. This one is suit & tie and dress. VERY expensive, but very fine dining if that's what you're looking for. You get your own butler and waitress and the coffee service is a great vacuum pot that brews right at your table. Portions are not huge. The lady gets a rose too! You have to alot a few hours for this meal too.

Seriously - call and see what's available, because we had no trouble getting into a lot of places this past week.

I loved Spoodles, we ate there on Tuesday night. this was our first time there and we really liked it.
