Your itinerary sounds wonderful.

So many places to choose from that I am starting to feel a bit overwhelmed and I've only started.

I feel that way all the time now that we live in Europe--since airfare will not get us much I feel like we should see everything while we are here--but that is pretty much a lifetime of travel

My big advice to anyone is not to do what many Americans do and see a city a day in Europe. Stay in one area for at least a few days ( a week is better) and get the feel for it.

I do agree with you in regards to spending time in different places instead of always thinking, "If its Tuesday I must be in Belgium."
