I had originally scheduled Narcoossees for our MK day 9/12 and now I am thinking we should change it. Any other suggestions for a 2TS or even a 1 TS meal. I would like it to be on the monorail or at MK if possible. We are already eating at CP in MK and we don't want to do CRT since we are doing princesses at Epcot later.

My favorites on the monorail are California Grill, the Grand Floridian Café and the Kona Café. I think any of those would be great for a party with two toddlers.

I was going to suggest 1900 Park Fare for dinner. It isn't princessy technically but it does have Cinderella & her whole family. The stepmother, stepsisters, the Prince & sometimes the Fairy Godmother. It's a 1 TS, still in GF. It gets great reviews. I just switched from Narcoossee's to 1900 for much of the same reason.
Or what about the Spirit of Aloha at the Poly? Or even Chef Mickey's at the CR?

I think with 2 toddlers you want Disney to bring the food to you, not wrestle with trays on a buffet line.

Within MK, how about LTT? Dinner does not have characters but is served family style.

On the monorail there are lots of good food options but not much in the way of 'entertainment' that the little ones would like except maybe Ohana or Spirit of Aloha.

Or you could take the boat from MK to Ft.W for Mickey's Backyard BBQ.

Liberty Tree Tavern has a lot of child-friendly food
Chef Mickeys is fun for everyone
Tony's Town Square in MK is good, my 2 year old loved it last year

We did Spirit of Aloha with our kids last year (including a 3 yo and 1 yo) and they liked it. Kids got to go on stage and hula in the beginning. It was long though, but they keep the food coming and the show is entertaining.

Our kids loved, loved, loved Coral Reef at Epcot. If you are going there and need a nice place to eat, that has my vote! It has something for everyone. The food was very yummy. It wasn't the typical park food. The kids watched the fish the whole time and my husband and I actually got time to talk!! It was magical!!

GL!!

For child friendly, but parent relaxing: I vote to stay away from the buffets, too.

LTTs family style dinners are enjoyable, and you're inside the park.

Ohana's is also family style, and can be fun for the kids

Chef Mickeys: food may be not so magical, but the kids would see the Mouse.

1900 Park Fare- a buffet, but it is at the GF.

Not on the monorail, but kids seem to love it: Whispering Canyon at WL

2 toddlers, place on the monorail, this is pretty much a no brainer:

OHANA! Great for kids that age, great food and it's family style so it just comes to your table...

Hi,
My daughters are currently almost 9 (twins) and 6.5. We took our twins for the first time at 14 months. The following trip they were about 3.5 and my youngest was 14 months. I think to answer that question you have to know your kids. If you have the ressie around 5ish...enough time before they are sleepy for bed and assuming they've had some sort of rest time/nap then I say keep it. I concur, buffets in your situation are not ideal and I personally would never do a character meal for dinner (too stimulating, kwim?). If your kids are otherwise well behaved and you and your husband are willing to walk them a little or so the other can have half a meal in peace or get antsy I say go for it. We have taken our girls just about everywhere on disney property (except victoria and albert's) and never had a problem or someone giving us the eye. I am very sensitive to "the eye".The staffs have always been very nice and prepared. Trust me your toddlers will not be the first ones that have ever eaten there. If you want to go less fancy our girls have always loved Boma and Roaring Fork. Boma is a buffet however, there are no characters to distract them AND it's a great opportunity for them to try new things...just my two cents.
HTH sss

I am a Disney newbie, but we picked The Wave for our upcoming trip. It's on the monorail, close to the MK and the menu looks really good!

Thanks for the suggestions. We decided to do a 1ts on our mk day. We might do one inside mi or go to the contemporary since we can walk. We are gonna do a signature or hddr on our rest day

Ohana at the Poly would be great for you guys!!

Also, Liberty Tree in MK. A lot of kid friendly food here. So yummy!! :goodvibes:goodvibes

Kona also comes to mind.

We are eating at Kona already and I just can't bring myself to eat at Liberty Tree when it is food that we already eat on a regular basis (my husband loves thanksgiving food). I was just trying to avoid having to leave the MK to go to the TTC to get to another resort.

I think we're going to do WCC on our MK day so my husband doesn't have to give it up. It's only like 15 minutes to WL according to ourlaughingplace.com
