Where will I be able to find MEEKO?

I love Meeko a LOT (I have two plush Meekos (one big, one small) and a purple polo type t-shirt with him on it).

When I went down in 1996, I think my Birnbaum guide said that he was found in MGM studios (which is now Hollywood studios) my group (parents, sister and brother in law and I) searched but we never found him.

Since I'll be going back in May (yea!) I am determined to find him, get his autograph and get my picture taken with him.

Now that the Pocahontas and her animal friends show is gone, could I still find him in Animal Kingdom? Or does it depend?

We saw him outside Animal Kingdom with a bunch of other random characters. It wasn't posted anywhere..but he was there! I am at work now, but I can post pictures when I get home!

We've seen him several times at Animal Kingdom at Rafiki's Planet Watch.
And out and about around Animal Kingdom.

I'm guessing it was in the same day, because my DD has the same clothes on. I know the first one was at Rafiki's Planet Watch and I think the second one may have been out side the park before opening or when we left.

So try Animal Kingdom (which is where I'll check anyway), but my best bet would be to call that # that tells guests where characters will be, probably. Or ask at Guest Services.

We were in Magic Kingdom on Jan. 4th. And we saw Meeko in the character greet area, right inside Adventure Land. Kinda Across from the Swiss Family Tree House... And Absolutely NO LINE for him or Raffikki. I guess because its off the path a little, and hidden by the plants...

We saw him several times outside the entrance to Animal Kingdom in December 08 and January 09....before you get to the bag check to the right as you approach!!

We had a great time with Meeko and Pocahontas in the shaded area directly between the Crystal Palace and the Liberty Tree Tavern -- this was Nov '07, but you never know...

We saw him in MK in Adventureland kinda across from The Swiss Family Robinson treehouse. There was no line at the time either. Also this was the beginning of January this year.

does someone have the phone # handy that's for calling about character locations? I want to write it down so I have it handy to call before we leave for the park we decided on for each day. I still have two months to go, but I want the # handy so I can write it down ahead of time.

There is no number for guests. You have to ask a CM with a phone to call (easiest with Guest Relations or someone in merchandise). Or you could ask a character attendant if they know, but it would be easier to ask someone who can call.

Is the Liberty Tree tavern character meal still at MK? I think that's where we got pics with Meeko (along with Minnie, and Chip & Dale) - but it was rather a long time ago.

No. It ended last Fall, I believe. We did that meal in April and there was no Meeko. We saw him at Animal Kingdom (right at the entrance) then. He was with Pocahontas.

I was there the first week of Feb, and Meeko was outside the entrance of Animal Kingdom. It seems that we also saw him @ MK... but I know for sure he'll be at Animal Kingdom.
