Can someone PLEASE tell me why time is FLYING???
Wow talk about busy! So where i left off we finally arrive. I was so pleasantly surprised it looked exactly the way it had when we were there. even smelled the same!

Im not liking the new look of photobucket by the way..
Once we were in and settled the girls were split up into groups. Meg was a Ghost. they were picked to make Dinner.

which was Bagel pizzas.

Meg LOVED this.

after Dinner and the girls washing dishes. they changed into PJ's

Then right into a craft.

they made "spider nests"

So adorable.
after our Craft is was time to calm down..

it took forever for the girls to finally calm down and sleep.

see those matts we had to sleep on... it was the worst!
On to the next morning!

So the adults partake in the adult bug juice! which is of course their bug juice and vodka. we needed it.
i woke up about 6:30am and really enjoyed the morning surrounded by beautiful changing trees!!
Once everyone was up the next group of girls had to make breakfast. and Meg's group was on clean up duty. The girls had their friendship circle.

and we were OFF to the next cabin for more crafts!

during the walk we found this:

What is that you ask? I told the girls it's where they burn bad little girls. There was a box which they asked "what is that" my reply was thats where they store the bones. Ok maybe not but you tell me what that is??
our trail:

one of the other cabins i remember staying in.. we had the intention of staying int he tents until we were scared out of our minds..

and ran back to the cabin.

walking into the cabin for our craft i was SHOCKED to see my old leaders!!!

i was in tears! we promised to do a reunion.

this craft was sewing potpourri witches.

when our witches were all sewed up and smelling awesome we were off to the next cabin for more fun!
here We met up with my Cousin's daughter who is the sweetest girl
Here we frosted and decorated cupcakes

and ate them

then colored.

then we were off to yet another cabin but now with walking sticks.

we were told to bring an empty container from like minute maid i thought bird houses boy was i wrong! continue...

they made these hand wallets! they were so cool!

somewhere along the way Meg got that frog..

i LOVED them!!!
the parents were a bit tired, possibly from the bug juice..

Back at our cabin and after lunch we HAD to go and see the Indian grave AND the story of the lady of the lake!!! we could NOT skip this!!!

after scaring the BEJESUS out of the little ones it was time to go to the Lady of the lake:

the SHORT story is pretty much romeo and juliet except with Indians and swimming to each other. the Indian prince drowned because of the sea wed grabbed his ankle and the princess drowned because she tried to save him:

it was time to get back

we were hosting a haunted house!!!

meg at her scariest! she was a "helping hand" so she had blood on her hands.

sorry no pictures of the completed house there were strobe lights, black lights and smoke machines. there was NO way i could get a good picture without my tri-pod..
It was AWESOME!!! the other kids who came threw were SO SCARED! some girls wouldn't even go threw!!! we had a FAB time. It was time to go..
Meg cried, we had football and cheerleading..
we said our goodbyes. headed to the car pulled out to the street and there i sat. Which way to go? it was PITCH black out.. did i mention my eyes are NOT so good in the dark? Decision was to turn right. then my girlfriend's cell phone had a signal and Google maps directed us out!!! How amazing is that?!?!
it was a bit scary and we were a little weary about the drive, but we had to keep our heads up because the girls were a bit scared too.
2 hours later i was FINALLY home!!
i never slept so hard as i did that night.
The next morning we were off to the football game... we lost. shocking. this was the end of a wonderful weekend and something i will never forget!
Monday we were OFF! a FULL DAY OFF! I got all the pictures completed.
On to TUESDAY!!
this week was one crazy week the new job duties trying to teach the other girl my job. that's not going well.
it's TUESDAY! i have an alarm on my phone and i am ready... Meg had a Doc appointment checked Facebook to make sure a certain site was ready for 7pm. which i couldn't find...
football and cheerleading went uneventful Tom had a meeting for little league and we had to get Meg's scripts. and looked at the time i have 5 minutes!!! I took the kids to the Halloween aisle so i could get to my facebook site... BOOM found the site and waited for the post.
I AM ON THE WAITING LIST FOR D~!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am very happy!!! I posted at exactly 7 and JUST made the 5th spot!!! I couldn't believe how fast those girls were to post! I did it.

Before i knew it this weekend came. Our club had an AKC dog show on the 13 and 14th, I was in charge. "trial Chairman" was the title found out an AKC rep was going to be there!!!
all in all the show went on and was a huge hit! I asked a friend of mine to be the photographer here is his site for the pictures:

I did not show my dogs. He is just not ready.
On saturday our friends finally came by to watch our video's and see the pictures from our 2011 Disney trip!!!! it was great to see them again and about time we got together!!
SO tired for the weekend i called off today. woke up and Zack is home! he wasn't feeling well either.. I had the time to post my fun times!!!

Thanks for posting the pictures of the fall foliage. It is one of those things on my bucketlist to go see New England in the fall....one of these years I'll actually get to do it.

But until then, I'm relying on seeing the foliage in gorgeous colour in pictures like yours.

Loved all the pictures! Everything is so beautiful this time of year! Unfortunately, we are past peak leaf turning - and things are starting to get bare... I hate that part. I can handle the snow, I hate the cold. Sigh.

Your GS camp pictures are BEAUTIFUL!!! We had a backyard campout this past weekend, but our leaves are just now starting to turn.

Guess what... I AM ON D~'s WAITING LIST TOO!!!! I am pretty sure you will get your bag first. When are you scheduled for? I can't wait to see what theme you chose and see the pictures of yet another D~ creation!

I found out what the problem was with the pictures on my TR... I had changd the name of my Day 1 folder on photobucket, so they treated it as a "move" or something. Anywho, the pictures are there now, I hope you will give it another try!

Well let me stop the wondering....yes. Suzi hates spiders. I can usually handle bugs, snakes and most nasty things...but spiders are evil beings sent here to haunt me!

Too funny! My oldest DD loves snakes...she had a snake and reptile themed birthday party when she turned 11. We even had a Biology professor from the University where I work show up with snakes and lizards for the kids to "handle" should they choose to do so. DD walked around for 45 minutes with a 6ft boa constrictor wrapped around her...

But let her encounter a spider and she screams like a banche!!!

That was a FUN birthday party! We had it at night. We did a backyard bonfire, had silly string fights on the trampoline and found rubber snakes in the yard using flashlights.
