We're just back from WDW from 9/27 - 10/3 (so sad to be home - had a wonderful time!!!).

We had dinner at the Crystal Palace and the service was very good and the food was okay (not much of a selection in my opinion) and the character interaction was fantastic. My 20 month old DD loves Pooh - so it was a big hit with her!!

We had breakfast at Cinderella's castle. It was worth trying every day at 7 a.m. We loved it. The restaurant itself is beautiful. The food was excellent. The service was outstanding. The princesses were beautiful. If possible, this is a must do every trip.

We also had dinner at O'Hana's. We really enjoyed this as well. The turkey, shrimp and beef were excellent although we thought the pork was a little tough. The starters were excellent and the service was fantastic. The games for the little ones were so much fun. My dd had a great time playing the coconut game until she was the only one still playing and decided to just pick up her coconut and carry it.

We also had dinner at The Cape May buffet. Everything was good and our waiter was very nice. It was nice to enjoy a quiet dinner.

Quick bites were tough with my dd, she had chicken fingers and french fries more times than I would like to admit. I'm glad we brought some nutricious food with us - you can only eat fruit salad so many times.

We stayed at Caribbean Beach and we thought the food court was more than adequate. We were able to get some healthy food there most of the time.

If any one has any ??, please feel free. I learned alot from these boards before I left so if I can return the favor, I'd be happy too.

Thanks for the excellebt reviews. Don't worry about the chicken fingers. You have the rest of her childhood to give her lots of veggies.:teeth:

It sounds as if you had a fantastic time! As Strings said, I wouldn't worry too much about all the chicken fingers... heck, it could be a whole lot worse! When I travel with my best bud and his family, his daughters tend to want nothing but sweets... cotton candy, ice cream, etc. Mainly because it's very unusual for them to have that kind of stuff at home!

Anyway, here's my question: What's the seating arrangement like at O'Hana's? I'm considering heading over there for dinner one night, but am traveling solo and wondered if it would be one of those places where it might feel awkward to be a solo diner. Thoughts?

Thanks!

Richard

How much did the breakfast at Cinderellas Castle cost? did you have advance reservations --if so how long? what do you mean it was worth calling at 7am?? Clueless here but told it was somethign we really need to do.

For sharing your reviews, was selection good and the food fresh at Cape May Buffet?:wizard:

Thanx for sharing ~ Wonderful reviews.

I'm curious, which characters did you see at CRT? My DD has her heart set on Aurora- I know she is there a lot, but not everyday. Our last trip, we had Cindy, Snow White, Aurora, and Jasmine. I've heard Jasmine isn't there a lot now, but curious as to who is apearing.

Arkiegirl- you might want to check wdwig.com for prices on this breakfast. Also, check the thread on top of this board for advice and information about this breakfast. Yes, it is definitely a must do for us- very magical!::MinnieMo

I wouldn't worry about eating alone at O'Hana's, we had a fairly large table (there were 10 in our party) but there were plenty of small tables. It was very good and the service and festivities will make you feel right at home.

CRT cost $23, we used Connections vouchers which saved us some $$. You must call for reservations 90 days out and the reservation system opens at 7 a.m. eastern time. I arrived at WDW on Saturday, so I tried for this reservation starting for Sunday and didn't get it until Thursday.

Cape May buffet was very good. The seafood was very fresh - good shrimp, mussels and clams. A nice variety for non-seafood eating people too.

Cinderella, Snow White, Belle, Aurora & Aladdin were at our breakfast.

HTH!

Dawn - Thanks for the reviews. Glad you had good experiences!

Richard - I wouldn't feel out of place at all dining solo at Ohana. It is a very friendly, fun atmosphere. Enjoy!

Thanks for the report. I'm glad you enjoyed the trip. Congrats on getting through on the reservations at Cindy's.
