We took the kids for a surprise trip to get one last use of our PAP's. This was a very kid centered trip and budget conscious as well. We stayed on DVC points so we had kitchen facilities to fill in the meals we did not eat out.
25th WCC at WL. I admit we were tired from travelling and DD was not feeling well, so my "this wasn't that great" amy be influenced by that. DH and I ordered the skillett. ALthough it was very good, I still do not think it was worth the money. DS ordered the NY strip steak. He liked it very much. DD had the PB and J. It was very big and she really enjoyed the fresh fruit. ALthough the milkshakes are suppoosed to be bottomless no one offered DS a refill (not really abig deal becasue he didn't really want one anyway). The total was around $120. which personally I think was high for what we got. I may try this again though since it may have just been me--tired with a sick kid! B
26th Lunch at Crystal Palace. Very good as usual, excellent Character interaction and super waitstaff! Except for the obnoxious guy at the next table over--picking his nose, yelling at the characters, etc. it was a perfect meal. I thought I was going to lose it when he stuffed the cloth napkin up his nose to fetch what his finger missed! $65 with tip A
27th Breakfast at Donald's--NEVER DO THIS ON EE DAY! THe food was great and plentiful, but the place was insane. There was no order at the gate for getting people with PS's in and by the time we got there for our 8:10 PS it was 9:10--we were still the first seating and it was insane. The hot food line was about 40 minutes long. I will do this again, just not on EE day. total about $40 since the kids had vouchers from renting through Alamo. Food A, bottleneck and service F
Lunch at Pizzafari--this was unplanned. DH and I shared an adult meal deal while the kids each had their own kids deal. A very good value for about $25. THree pizzas, 2 small drinks, 1 large drink, 2 bags of chips, three ice cream bars and 2 powerades and one bottled water. The pizza here was great and I will put this into our plans for 2004. A
28th Fantasmic Dinner Pkg at Hollywood and Vine. Nothing here was very exciting. THe tomatoes and cheese on bread was quite tasty, and the rootbeer sweetpotatoes were interesting. Overall I doubt I would do this again, but it was the only Fantasmic Package I could get when I called to reserve. $75 with tip. C+
29th Sci Fi Dine In We all had burgers, fries and milkshakes. Never a disappointment. The kids enjoy the atmosphere and DH and I enjoy the cool respite from the afternoon sun. Service was excellent. Total about $60 with tip. A
30th Clambake at Cape May. As usual it was wonderful. Clams were plentiful and the kids love the desserts. Everything was plentiful and hot. Great service as well. $90. with tip A
As I said nothing steller, very child centered. I would be happy to answer any questions.
