We will be on the Treasure tomorrow. Will they show the World Series on the ship? If so, would it be at a non adults only location as the game starts after 8 pm? The kids will not stay for the whole game, but it would be great if they could catch some of it.

There is only one sports bar on the cruise ship. They become adults only at 9pm.

Ps. I would be shocked if any kid, no matter how sports mad, would be keen on watching sports while on a disney cruise, especially in the evening when there is kids clubs, shows, rotational dinners and the pool is all lit up at night.

It usually plays some sport in the pub. Maybe you will luck out there. If it is shown there it will be on your cabin tv too. We found that out with football.

Hope you get to see it I will be watching ! Game 7 !

We watched the Super Bowl in the Periscope pub. It was a blast! We got there early so we could get a good seat. We made sure we bought drinks and food so we could stay there a long time. We had drinks bought for us and we were buying drinks for others. Lots of high fives all around and cheering.

We saw part of the NBA finals last year on the Funnel Vision. Would depend if it's Pirate night or other deck activities.
Game 7 gonna be a doozy!

Unfortunately, stateroom TVs only have ABC, no Fox. Chances are you will get to see it in public areas with TVs since Sport24, a live sports provider for cruise ships and airlines, has a contract with DCL. The World Series should be available there.

The super bowl was on at Currents on the Fantasy so I would guess it will be on at the equivalent on the Treasure. It was on in a few different places, they had some signs up leading up to the game about where it could be watched.

I'm sure it'll be on in Periscope.

i'll be curious to know if you were able to watch it somewhere. Just realized the day i go on the treasure is some of the conference championship games in college football.

We were on the Nov 1 sailing of the Treasure and we watched the World Series on our stateroom tv. I think it was the Events channel we were watching. We went to Periscope Pub but they said they only show football.

stateroom tv's have 2 channels for special events. Sports is often on those - like Sunday night football (NBC carries it, but it was on in the stateroom), and they showed two NFL games (on Fox and CBS) Sunday afternoon in the late (4:30 window) on those channels.

That must be Sport24’s cruise ship service carrying it, and not the networks mentioned above.

Once you are away from port, there are no "networks" on the tvs. It is whatever international carriers that are supplying the feed. ESPN has a bunch of international broadcast rights that are carried but are not available in the US. I'm just letting people know that since your first comment referenced ABC and FOX, that it isn't an issue for the ships, since they use the international broadcast services away from any US port. You can still get coverage on big events that are shown in the US on CBS, NBC, and FOX even though they are not part of the US Disney broadcast family.
