We arrive in Orlando early on Sunday, 10/2/16 (8am) & doubt my room will be ready, so I'm wondering where we can go to watch the 9:30 am NFL game in London (we're huge Colts fans). I don't think ESPN Club is open yet & we won't be going to the parks, so am wondering if there's any where at the resorts or Disney Springs to watch the game?

I'm not sure this is the right board for this...please redirect me if it isn't.

Don't know of anywhere to watch at 9:30 AM.

Tell them you will take any available room when you arrive-they "may" have a room even at that early hour..

Off the top of my head, maybe the Wave? They have breakfast, and a bar area with TVs. Or maybe Raglan Road. They open at 10 for Brunch. Splittsville also opens at 10 I believe and they have a ton of TVs. You may miss a quarter that way but you at least would see the majority.

I think this is the phone# for the ESPN Club at the Boardwalk. Maybe call them and ask if they will be open early for the game. (407) 939-1177

I was going to suggest checking with ESPN club as well. I know they opened some mornings over the summer for the COPA soccer games that were held in Europe.

We will be at WDW on the 23rd when the Giants play in London. DH is planning on watching in the room since it will be on NFL Network.

Alternately, what time do the resort pool bars open?

Usually 11 I believe. May be worth heading for Disney Springs at half time to catch the second half there.

Thanks everyone. I called ESPN Club & they confirmed they open at 11am. I think we will head to Disney Springs & try either Splitsville or Ragland Road.

Are you flying? I'm sure the game will be on in the airport :) Not the most comfortable place to watch though.

We are flying but I'd rather be at Disney & miss the game, than hang out at the airport.

As an update, we're staying at Poly & Tambu Lounge is supposed to open at 9am, so I'm hoping to catch it there!

There is a big tv in the Solarium at the Beach Club (across from the gift shop). It is a very comfortable place to watch the game if no one else is in there already watching something. We love relaxing in there. The only issue would be parking. Unless you had an ADR for say lunch you may not be able to park there. But You may be able to park near the Boardwalk? Hope you get a chance to watch (though being a Pats fan I'll be rooting for Jacksonville). :) And at halftime you could walk the 10 minutes over to ESPN if you wanted.

Just thought I'd update folks on where we finally ended up catching the game...Tambu Lounge was open, but had in cartoons for all the little ones waiting for breakfast at Ohana. We ended up in Disney Springs at Splitsville. Missed the first quarter, but it was a great place to catch the game!

Awesome.:)

Was the Tambu Bartender already working that early or was the Bar area just open so kids could watch the cartoons?:)

Good question! I'm not sure though...we saw cartoons & kept on moving. I didn't even look at the bar. :guilty:
