Just realized that we will be at WDW for Superbowl Sunday - watching the game in the room seems pretty boring to me - there will be 6 of us - 3 adults and 3 teens....any suggestions???

Also - need your reccomendations for best beer in Epcot. I bought my husband a home brewing kit last Christmas and he now fancies himself to be a brew-master (I'll never top that gift!!). Any suggestions of what he should try would be greatly appreciated. Already have PS at Rose & Crown for 1st night's dinner.

Thanks for the input.

Can't help you on the beer question, but was there last year for the Superbowl.

ESPN seemed to be the place to be but way too crowded for me. People got there when they opened to get tables, plus they had a huge tent set up outside with TVs. The World Sports Complex cafe was closed for a private party.

Don't know where you are staying but each resort had big screen TVs set up. Also had beer and food specials such as buckets of beer and chili dogs, etc. It's a great time!!!

Hope this helps!!!! :bounce:

Thanks for he info. We are staying at All Star Music.

I think the beer in Norway (Rignes) is pretty good. I also fancy the Rose and Crown for good beer. It's Harp and Bass Ale and Guiness and a couple of others.

As far as the game, I'd stay away from ESPN as i hear it gets crowded early. You may want to try any of the lounges in the Deluxe hotels to see if they have TVs. I know there is a TV in the Territory Lounge at WL. I think I heard that they put TVs out on the BW by the ESPN club but that comes from the boards I've never seen it.

Best beer at Epcot--I think Rhinges in Norway. Kirin at Japan is also good, and I've always been partial to Dos Equis as well.
Don't forget that Big River grille at the Boardwalk has micro-brews..you can walk to Epcot from there.

1) Large Ringnes in Norway
2) Kirin Ichiban in Japan
3) Bass Draft in the U.K.

Big River brew pub and Rose and Crown get my votes for best beer! :D

I'm going to be at WDW during the SB as well. We're changing resorts that day (going from PO-R to CBR). Anybody know what kind of spread CBR has for the SB?

You can try The Crews Cup Lounge at Yacht Club. TV, Tables and Booths, food available and a new selection of bottled beers.

We are going tot the World of Sports All Star Cafe. They have a multitude of tvs and the food it eatable. The food and service at ESPN leave a lot to be desire. You also need to get there around 7 am to get a seat.

Since our Packers will be playing we really want to enjoy the night and I posted this same question before and was told the All Star Cafe was the way to go:bounce:

You might want to call the All Star Cafe first. Last year it was closed for a private Superbowl party.

ESPN at the Boardwalk!

We, too, will be in the World for the game. I'm with jdk... GO PACKERS!

Any idea the best place to watch with two young kids (DD4 and 7mo) in tow?

Uncle is correct. Just Beck and they do have dark!!!

Not sure where you may want to watch Super Bowl from but thought I'd throw in my own $.02 about the beer, one of my favorite subjects.

Others have mentioned some of the best spots for beer at Epcot, though IMO not the greatest selection is available.

Since your husband is into brewing his own try Big River Grill at the Boardwalk. They have several beers they brew themselves.

Last year during Food & Wine I had Corsendonk and Samiclaus on tap.

Germany - Becks on tap.

Rose & Crown - Try the Imperial Sampler, 5 beers, 6oz. each., also very good half & half.

Norway - Rignes.

Believe it or not, Goodings has an excellent selection of Belgian ales, IMO the best beers God put on this earth........

Oh--for a Chimay!!

Hakkim is right-Crew's Cup has a nice selection of bottled beer. Lots of the "usual suspects" to be sure, but a few "differnt" selections also. No draft tho---
