We will be there in 4 days. Two years ago we took a good pic in front og the castle. Where is another good spot to take a Christmas card photo other than in Downtown Disney?

In Liberty Square there is a big horse drawn sleigh (without the horses, of course) that I took my kids picture on last year. However, you won't know its Disney from the background but it is a pretty prop.

We happened to get a great photo with Mickey at Animal Kingdom one year and he was wearing his Christmas clothes. It turned out so cute that we ended up using it for our cards that year. Mickey will always be a part of our family! :)

Use the Kodak spots throughout the world and ask someone to take your family pix at each. That way, you get home and can decide from several poses. It's a joke with our DS-21 and DD-19: ok, let's get together for our Christmas picture now! even though it's June:laughing: I also believe in letting the kids pick some spots--they really enjoy it:hug:

If you are going to (um...whatever they're calling the movie one lately), the last time I was there they had "snow" in some of the street sets. - I don't remember exactly where in the park, but the pic I have is of DS standing on a snowbank is in front of a shop window set that says "Parkside Antiques." I hope that helps.

downttown disney. I can't remeber exactly where it was in downtown, I'm sure if you ask someone will know. There is a a holiday snow scene with I believe the winnie the pooh characters. I'll see if I can find the pic. we took there so you can see it.

Last year we had the park photographer take our pic at each park. We used our family pic in front of the Tree of Life at AK for our Christmas card. It was perfect.

This is a great thread - we are going in December, and this is giving me some great ideas!! Thanks all!!!!

Haha, this reminds me of ours. We posed the kids in front of the castle and all 3 had the most MISERABLE looks. We got home and I was still so mad, I told them I was sending it out anyways. :rotfl2: I didn't, but it is framed as the main pic in the dining room.

Last week I took pix of the kids in front of a giant tree at Epcot with the lake behind the tree. Also facing the other direction we got pix with the fountain and the ball behind it. There are several Christmas-type scenes set up that would be great! I also took a couple of pix of my son sitting on a rock next to the creek out the backdoor of the wilderness lodge that came out really nice.
