Where to take a break near Dinoland?

It seems like there might be a long walk and a long wait to ride FOP and then Dinosaur first thing in the morning. I think we might need a break after riding Dinosaur. I am not really seeing any restaurants or snack areas that we might want to eat at. I don't think Dino Bites will be open that early. We might just take some snacks along to eat when we want a break. What would you suggest? Where would you sit at Dinoland?

I remember reading they added some tables & seats in the area where Primeval Whirl used to be - and the MDE map shows them. MDE says the Dino Diner near that space opens at 11 AM. MDE also says Dino-Bite Snacks opens at 10:30.

Oh are you kidding...Restaurantosaurus is right there. One of the select QS places in the parks that have self-service drink refills! You can just hang and drink soda's if you want. And it's very comfortable in there. It's was originally used by the dig team and scientists. Lots of things to look at. It can be a zoo though if you get there during peak periods.

Flame Tree is just outside Dinoland.

There are lots of picnic tables near the old Primeval Whirl site.

Isle of Java is open early and is next to Flame Tree BBQ. It's a Joffrey's. You could grab something there and sit on one of the planting bed edges or sit at the theater. I don't think they have any kite tails shows that early. Even if they do, you can still sit there and eat.

We would likely be out of the Dinoland area before 10:30 which is when they open. I am using Touring Plans and am trying to figure out where to eat and when to take breaks. It looks to me like most restaurants don't open until 10:30.

Right now I think we will do Flame Tree for lunch. I was wondering what they had where Primeval Whirl used to be. We would likely be out of Dinoland before 10:30 when Restaurantosaurus opens unless we decided to purposely stick around. Decisions. Decisions!

I will check that out. Thanks!
