Hi all, I was wondering where you suggest to stay the night before the cruise? We will be driving .We want to be very close to the port. Thanks so much.
Misty

Misty, I know a lot of people stay at the Radison at the Port. It's the closest hotel to the port.

We haven't decided yet where we're staying. We may stay near the airport since we're flying in the night before.

We stay at the Holiday Inn Express and have had good luck. Pretty new, clean, close (within 5 miles of the port), quiet. Check www.dcltribute.com for more hotel information. Dave, a regular on these boards, put together quite a lot of good information regarding this kind of thing.

Depends on what you want. There are several nice places by the port, but you will have a car....The Radisson offers free parking while on the cruise and a shuttle to the port. Their "sister hotel" Quality Suites allows you to drive to the Radisson and leave your car there. This sure makes the cost of the hotel cheaper! Be aware that these are not secure, guarded lots as the one is at the port.
Holiday Inn and Doubletree in Cocoa Beach are also nice.

I cannot make myself leave my vehicle in a non secure parking lot for a week.We will be driving to port,Plus i want to be there very early. What is the earliest you can be at port without them thinking you are  ?
Thanks,
Misty
