We are a family of 5, me, DH, 2 DD (teenagers) and a DS (13 yrs).
I have ressies at the Buena Vista Suites but am reading poor things about it (i.e. rooms, service and food)

Where would you recommend we stay off-site?

Thanks in advance!

Are you renting a car? Caribe Royale, Double Tree Suites or 2 connecting rooms (and you would get 2 bathrooms this way) at Hotel Royal Plaza may work. Depends on whether you need a kitchen or not. Great information at this web site, Mary also has discounts for some of these resorts in DD: www.mousesavers.com/preferred.html or www.downtowndisneyhotels.com/mappg.html

I would recommend Springhill Suites in Lake Buena Vista: www.marriott.com/dpp/PropertyPage.asp?MarshaCode=MCOLX one mile from WDW or Summerfield Suites by Wyndham Lake Buena Vista: www.wyndham.com/hotels/MCOLK/guestrooms/main.wnt

Catheren,

Can you share the negatives you've heard about Buena Vista Suites? I was thinking of booking there, but won't if it is not good.

Thanks!

The negative info I read was that the buffet breakfast wasn't edible and the rooms were nice but needed to be updates. Absolutely no views from room.
