Hey there all! I would love some of your suggestions.

I am going to WDW and doing the cruise in June 2008 with my brother, his wife and our 17-year old sister. We are thinking about staying at a Moderate resort but have never stayed at one of those. My 17-year old sister and I have stayed at Pop Century twice and LOVED it; also stayed at Saratoga with some DVC family members. Would stay at Pop again but wanted to try something different. My sister-in-law has never been to WDW and this is her first trip to see the Mouse.

I would love and appreciate suggestions as to what Moderate resort we should pick.

Thanks in advance!!

I can only speak from what I've done and that's been the POR. I just love the overall feel of the place, and my DH likes the boat ride to DTD.

One thing to consider, though, is that the moderates either have 1 king or 2 double beds (if I'm wrong, someone please correct me!). If that's the case, it may be kinda tight for who you'll be with. You could do 2 rooms and hope to get them ajoining or at least next to each other.

Other thought would be to stay at the (new) family suites at the All-Star resorts. There are 2 baths, a queen and a sofa sleeper; the queen and sofa sleeper are in different "rooms" of the suite (I'm basing this on the room diagram shown in my UG guide book). I'm not sure about cost though; it may cost more than 1 room in a moderate, but maybe not as much as 2?

Good luck in your planning!

Two years ago it would have been Port Orleans Riverside. Now everybody is Coronado Springs crazy. Almost every thread on Moderates gets huge responses from people who love the Coronado.:worship: I guess like the rest of us you will have to try it to see if its as spectacular as they say. I have heard such good things about it that I booked 7 nights for April. We'll see.... Good luck.
