Where to stay--quick help needed!

A Disney "vet" with an unusual dilemna

I am trying to decide where to stay for an early-mid March visit. Without regards to cost (as I know the differences there), for an 8-night stay, party of 1 single 45 y.o. guy, not a big partier-just loves the Disney "get away from it all" feeling, would you favor:

Coronado Springs
Animal Kingdom Lodge
or
Beach Club

If it makes a difference, I have stayed at all but CSR before.

Personally, I would go with Beach Club because of it's location. Have fun!

Not sure if you're going there as a singleand possibly looking or just as a single and already taken.

In either case it depends on you. I've been to CSR, and you will be pleasantly surprised at the beauty of the place with small subtle hints of Disney. Not so much in yer face. Being that it's a convention resort, you may find a bunch of other singles to hang with. Also for this reason, not as many families, so that may be another plus for you.

2nd: Staying at the BC , will definetely have more families, as well as price will be higher. The plus, is all the night life is within walking distance. be it the boardwalk or the countries in Epcot. Either choice you won't be disappointed I'm sure. Good Luck.

If I was going alone I think I'd try AKL out of your choices. I think it'd be nice to relax and watch the animals! Beach Club would also be a great choice. However my #1 choice for a solo trip would be a theme park view at the Poly!

I guess it depends what relaxes you. There is nothing in the world that relaxes me more than looking out at the palm trees and white sand beach at the Poly, and hearing the ferry boats in the distance. But of course, everyone is different!

If I escaped without my kids I'd go for either BC or BWV. Yes now that would be fun!

When I was single and went by myself or with friends I always stayed at CSR. You have the best chance of meeting other singles, if you're interested in that. Our main reason was the variety of bars and the general feel. Since it is a convention hotel there is something different about the atmosphere.

See that Jeff. Forget what I said about singles at CSR. You don't need to mingle there w/ the other single conventioneers. LoL That parts already done...LoL
