We will be sailing out of Miami for the first time!! Does anybody have any great hotels to recommend? We will be staying for two days pre-cruise and we are a party of mom and dad, 2 college age children and high schooler. Thanks for your help!!!
We stayed at Hampton Inn and Suites in Brickell for two nights before our cruise in March. Highly recommended. Free breakfast, pool and hot tub, close to restaurants, metromover and metrorail and in a nice safe area. What's not to like? Shuttle to port cost $8 per person but taxi/uber was cheaper for our party of 4. Only downside - it's not on the beach. We will be sailing out of Miami for the first time!! I love hanging out in Miami Beach, but if you want Miami proper, I really loved the Hampton Inn Blue Lagoon. Super nice with some places to eat in walking distance - and I think they had a shuttle (nominal fee) to an area mall. They offer a shuttle to the port at 3 different times for $10/person.
What can you recommend for Miami Beach? We are going down 2 days prior to the cruise, just DH and I
Do any of these hotels offer park for free while you are on the cruise?
