Where to stay on road trip between dc and wdw?

where should we stay overnight on our way down? tia.

How much driving do you want to do the 1 st day? We stopped in Walterboro, SC when we drove. For us coming from the NJ suburbs of Philadelphia it was about 12 hours and another 5 or so to WDW the next day.
We have also stayed outside of Savannah on the way back when we left in the afternoon.

We stayed at a springhill suites at the Jacksonville airport. Free breakfast was great! And it was only about $80/night with aaa and taxes.

We're on our way now and the plan is to drive as long as we can until the kids can't have any more.
