Any suggestions of where to stay off-site? Going Dec 2013.

Three years ago when I took my family we stayed at the DoubleTree. It was nice but was roughly a 2 mile walk to DTD to catch the buses. Normally not a big deal but after a looooooooong day in the parks, we would end up carrying the kids from DTD to the hotel. Trying to find other options that might be closer to DTD or to other transportation options.

Thanks!!

We are staying at the double tree in March. Did they not have transportation at the resort to the parks?

Two years ago there was no transportation to/from Doubletree. We had to walk to/from DTD to get a bus. Not fun carrying kiddos after long day at parks.

I am torn about hotels as well.
Money is now tight, so I have to STRETCH the moola.
I had no idea that the condos around were so manageable.

if you want a condo/timeshare - then might look into wyndham bonnet creek - it does have transportation - you can rent from a person/broker and save you some money.

I have been looking at off-sites properties for the last few days.
Mostly, resort and suites.
Bonnet Creek looks like the NICEST, even with the 12.00'day resort fee.
You either pay it at the hotel or at the parking lot of the parks, or on their shuttle.
