Where to Stay ? LBV or Sheraton Vistana

Lake B.V. and Sheraton Vistana both sound nice. We are going April 1-8 and need a kitchen and awesome pool area. There will be 2 adults and 2 teens (15 and 12) so looking for a resort with some 'stuff' to do.

So, the good, the bad, and the ugly of each ????

Do you mean Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa? Let's assume you do because then I can give you some information...We stayed at Sheraton Vistana Resort in LBV in January. Got a great AAA rate for a 2 bedroom. The rooms were big, modern, full amenities, beautiful...very impressive. Grounds were nice, lots of paths, little store, tennis courts, pools. 3 things bothered me... 1) saw several dead ducks in a pond. Bothered by the thought of why they died and why they weren't removed. 2) Could hear the neighbors above my head...HATE that! 3) poor internet service and that matters to us. Anyway, one day we took a ride to Lake Buena Vista Resort Village and Spa because I had been looking at that property online too and wondered how it compared to the Vistana. Front desk allowed us to tour a room. LBV resort had indoor corridors and elevators (Vistana did not) but it seemed a bit unkept. The room was nice at LBV but not nearly as nice as Vistana and not nearly as large or well laid out. The grounds of LBV resort village and spa were essentially non-existant, lots of parking lot. Saw the pirate pool, it was alright, but you you can't miss the huge highway behind the pool. All I could focus on were cars driving past. Not relaxing, not for me. Still, if I had booked there for a great rate and hadn't been to Vistana I would have been pleased I think. We're trying Wyndham Bonnet Creek next, got a great rate for that too, may be worth considering.
