I can't decide where to stay in Anaheim, for our 3 night trip to Disneyland, it will be a Father and Daughter [19] trip. Staying over July 25 - 28, looking for accomadation for $80 a night or less, with free breakfast and parking.

Two places I have found so far are;

Alpine Inn - $80 a night + tax, with free breakfast and parking, though the rooms look quite dated

BW Stovall's Inn - I liked the look of this place [the beds look comfy], I can get a good deal on Expedia for around $80 a night, free breakfast,though parking is $8 a day, and some people are saying this too too far from DL to walk

What do you think? Anyother hotels to add to the mix?

Thanks :D

Alpine's not 'too' bad. The breakfast aint nothin to write home about (none of are),but it's quiet and functional. I'm 'pretty' sure most,if not all rooms come with a fridge and nuker. :confused3

Between the 2, I'd go with Stovall's. Though both are older motels, the Alpine definitely feels its age, IMO. The rooms at Stovall's are newly remodeled & the beds are SUPER comfy; the rooms at the Alpine were rather shabby & the beds were OLD & HARD when I stayed there. You can take the "shortcut" (down Disneyland Drive & through the Grand Californian lobby) from Stovall's, as well as it being serviced by the ART bus. The pool area at Stovall's is about a million times nicer than the one at the Alpine, which is just a small pool, that didn't seem to be heated, surrounded by concrete & a chainlink fence. Pool area at Stovall's has 2 big pools, one heated, one not, 2 hot tubs, a kiddie pool, and is surrounded by topiary trees in animal shapes.

Don't know if you've found this page: http://book.bestwestern.com/bestwestern/priceAvail.do?propertyCode=05185 for Stovall's yet; I was able to book a room for my upcoming trip for around $70 a night, when the going rate is around $130! You just have to book ahead & prepay.
