After going on the Disney Dream next May we are wanting to stay at Disney for 3 nights. I am not sure which villa to choose. We don't have much time and will have a 2 year old with us. I have always wanted to try staying at AK but am not sure if this would be the wisest choice for such a short trip. Do you think I would be better off closer to the parks, such as the contemperary or the Boardwalk? I usually don't mind the bus trips, but I imagine we will be going back to the room for naps and we already don't have much time. Opinions please. Thanks

I think you answered your own question. If you are going to be going back and forth to the parks, choose a resort closest and with the best transportation to the park that you will visit most often.

Thanks! I know it makes more sense, but I really want to try AK. Is the bus service really that slow? I keep thinking we may enjoy the Savannah view while she is napping, but I don't want nap time to take up an extra hour of our day because of slower bus service. We are going to try and hit each park for a little bit. Bay Lake would probally be faster to get around to more parks. Is Bay Lake nice? Sorry I have so many questions and way to much time on more hands to plan!

I suggest BCV or BLT... both are great locations! The bus to MK is a fairly short ride compared to some resorts. Stormalong Bay is awesome!
BWV or VWL would be my next choice.
Good Luck!

BLT/Contemporary would be my recommendation. The walk to MK is great for a short trip with a toddler - 10 min and you're at Main Street. The pool is also good for a 2 yr old (DS was 2 1/2 for our trip to BLT) - it has a toddler slide, and it has a water spout play area.

My comment about BCV is depending on time of year, SAB (the pool there) is so crowded, it can be very overwhelming for a 2 yr old. We stayed there before when DS was 13 mo and DNiece was just 2. We did only one visit to SAB because it was just too crazy for the little ones and instead we used another one of the pools there. Plus, from BCV you still have to take a bus to get to/from MK.

Thanks for all of the advice. It really helps! There are just too many options for an indesisive person like myself!
