When we go to Disney World, we'll have 4 kids, aged 7, 5, 2, and 4 months old. I'm wondering if any of the hotels will let us all stay in the same room, and whether the youngest baby is counted as a person in terms of hotel rooms.

Thanks in advance!

Hi! You will be able to fit in any of the moderates or deluxes that fit 5. The baby won't count in your numbers since he/she is under 3. I can't remember which moderate does allow 5...maybe PFQ?

We also have four kids, and have chosen to get 2 connecting rooms at a value. Having two separate areas plus 2 bathrooms is going to be wonderful, compared to what we've been used to with squeezing us all in one room.

Also, they do have family suites at ASmu now.

Check out Allearsnet for details about all the rooms/suites.

Another choice is the Fort Wilderness Cabins. The cabins sleep 6 and are just a boat ride away from MK.

Hi! :welcome: . It all depends on how much money you want to spend. Rooms that sleep 4, such as at the value resorts will allow ONE child under the age of 3 to also share the room, but not TWO. So, you will have to book a 5 person room (there are a FEW of those in the Port Orleans moderate resort and MANY of those in the deluxe resorts) or you can book 2 connecting rooms, or a suite (there are some at the value resorts now.) Renting points from a DVC member or booking a DVC unit from Disney is an option but will cost quite a bit more either way. Have you checked out the new Family Suites at All Star Music??

We did stay at POR in one of the trundle bed rooms when ours were 6, 4, 2, and newborn and it worked out fine! Now that ours are 15, 13, 11, and almost 9 TWO bathrooms are a must!!!! The cabins are an option too, depending on your budget (they cost more than 2 rooms or a suite at the values!) Have fun planning :) !

We have 4 children. We went last year when they were 6, 4, 3, and 1 and stayed at Port Orleans Riverside. It was great!! We liked it so much that we are going again this year! Next year we will have to figure something else out as our youngest will be 3, but until then POR her we come!!! :thumbsup2

We also have 4 kids, aged 11, 9, 6, 3. We've been going to WDW every year (or more) for the past 5 years. We mostly stay in a 2 bedroom DVC villa.

We've stayed in the cabins, and loved them (except for the pool)!

We're trying Port Orleans Riverside and the new All Star Suites this trip, so I can't attest to them yet.

My best advice is to look into DVC. In a few years, when the kids start getting older, you just won't be able to fit into one room.

Wow, I didn't realize how many families out there have four children, it's just not that common anymore. We have 4 (The more the merrier) and when we stay on-site we'll be doing two connecting value rooms, I believe that's the cheapest way, and of course two bathrooms are a plus. My Dh showers like a lady, takes him about an hour in the bathroom. :rotfl: So by the time he is ready, me and all 4 kids will have gotten ready in the other bathroom :rotfl:

DVC is great but much more $$$! A two bedrrom villa is 40 points/night most nights at most resorts. Points are generally 10$ each. That's 400$ a night! Two rooms or a cabin is about HALF that!
