Where to stay for 1 night, Cont or GF??

Thanks for all the input, we decided today to go ahead and get the room at the GF. I think it will be more memorable to stay there the 1st night.

Great for you!!!! The GF is my favorite place in the world!!! Our wedding night/honeymoon, as well as our fist anniversary were spent at the GF...and they were SO romantic!!! You won't be sorry!!!

I originally voted for Cont, but after reading others opinions on the GF I would have swayed over to GF. But I really think that the best advice I read here was from prncess674 - everything about our stays at WDW is so personalize, so individual, and so opinionated!! But the bottom line always comes down to - ITS DISNEY- a bad day at Disney is better than the best day at home! (well, you know what I mean!! ) A vacation is always what you make it, if you have HUGE expectations, in all liklihood, you'll be disappointed, and that goes for Disney too!!

Have you read how crowded Spring Break/Easter was? And yet how many trip reports have you read that were horrible? I didnt really read any, and yet if we talk to anybody that wasnt prepared...

So be prepared, dont overplan, or have huge expectations - and make the most of what is given to you!

And try not to have resort envy (like me! Right now we're booked in POR, but maybe we'd be happier at AKL)! Once you've decided, start looking for only the positive reports - you'll drive yourself crazy because each person is different, and because each DAY is different, you'll get different opinions.

Its your honeymoon, honker down and ENJOY!! It will be memorable whereever you go!! And try and give us a trip report, I know I will be waiting to hear how much you enjoyed it!!
