I just can not make up my mind where to stay at Candy Cane Inn or Carousel Inn & Suites. Help!!!!!!!!!!!! :confused3

don't know that i can help you, but we are staying at the Carousel Inn in a 2 bedroom/2 bath suite during early July.. We can give you a report when I get back..

That is the same kind of room we were looking at would love to hear how you like it? Thanks

Carousell is my hotel of choice.

I've stayed in the 2 room/2 bath suites. It is basically a regular 2 queen bed hotel room, with an additional bed and bath attached. The 2nd room is separated by a regular door and has its own armoire with TV, then through another door is the full bathroom.

I haven't stayed at the Candy Cane so I can't comment on their rooms. But at the Carousel, you are right across the street from the main entrance. With Candy Cane, you've got a farther walk or optional shuttle ride. But in my opinion, by the time you wait for the shuttle and ride it back, you could have already been to your room at the Carousel.

I think the Candy Cane has a better breakfast than Carousel, but you can't beat the view from the breakfast room at Carousel.

These are the 2 resorts I was trying to decide between, too! My MIL is staying at the Candy Cane Inn this August, so I'm waiting to hear their report. From the research I've started, both places look nice, just not sure how to decide which one at this point. My MIL was able to get a military discount at the Candy Cane - does anyone know if this is offered at the Carousel? :)

Candy Cane Inn is GREAT! We've stayed there MANY times over the past few years and have never had a bad room. The staff is great, the beds are comfy, the rooms are clean, the staff is great, the pool it great, the breakfast has tons of options! Parking is included, shuttle is free, walk is short... I highly recommend it! :cool1:

I would NOT recommend the Carousel Inn. It is old and run down. The breakfast SUCKS! The rooms were not to my satisfaction on cleanliness.

The Candy Cane Inn would be my choice.

A lot of the hotel across from DL need renovating. The problem is people want to stay close and the rooms continue to get booked. I would not stay at the Carousel Inn ever again!

I loved the Carousel Inn because it is right there between the entrance and McDonald's. The rooms were nice and large. It had a fridge, and we thought the breakfast was pretty good. It is free, and my 2 girls loved getting to choose whatever they wanted to eat. This was a very easy place to stay and move in and out of the park, which we did several times a day.
