Where to run at AKL

Hi All - I am a runner getting ready for a marathon and we are staying at the AKL. I need to do 10 miles tomorrow (going to get up early!!!!) is it possible to start from the AKL? If I stay on the grass can I avoid getting hit by a bus? Any better suggestions of where I could take a taxi to?

Hmmm .... there is no sidewalk and I think it would be pretty dangerous to run on the side of the road.
