Where to rent a vacation home from?

Just wondering what websites everyone uses to rent vacation homes from. Thanks.

We always rent from owners. These are a few sites that owners list their homes:

There's also www.homeaway.com for the Kissimmee, Davenport or Clermont areas.

Michelle, Thanks so much for such a wonderful trip report. You really have a wonderful, candid style of writing. I think that you may have convinced us to give off-site rentals a try. My biggest worry would be that my teenagers are bored...did you happen to notice if there was an area where teens met up with other teens, eg; the basketball court or arcade? Also, did they post anywhere what movies were playing in the little theatre at the club house?

Lastly, you never got back to us on whether or not you brought home that souvenir that you and DH were working on...

Nope, no souvenir Ah, well.

I did see some teens around the pool, and playing on the pool tables, there weren't all that many of them that I can recall though..... They did post movies somewhere, but I can't remember where. Sorry We really spent so much time in the parks or in the condo, we didn't really notice other places.... but I can't imagine anyone could be bored there.

We are planning a trip over the Christmas holidays and didn't really plan to spend too much time in the parks until January 1st so I was wondering what else we could do to keep the teens busy. Of course shopping malls and factory outlets are a huge attraction to DD 16 The mini golf also sounds like a lot of fun.
