Where to put the groceries?

Oh dang, am I the only one that does NOT bring food with me? LOL I guess if I did have a bunch of groceries, I would probably stack some in the closet and some on the dresser.

I bring groceries (the dry goods like cereal & bagels & bread & chips). The others, I get at the store on property (stay in a DVC studio)...although I am considering doing an Amazon Prime order for bottled water and canned soda...

We stay at Pop and just keep the food on the coffee shelving area. Our cold food all fits in the fridge with no problem. We use drawers and closets for clothing. Pop has some awesome storage areas. Suitcases go under bed. We take collapsible storage boxes that hold cosmetics and personal care items on the shelves in the bathroom area and a little basket we put on the counter for stuff to take to park- sunglasses magic bands gift card etc. I have found the new pop rooms to be easy to be organized

The great thing about the new rooms is the abundance of storage space. I love it!

We store all food/drink related items on the coffee shelf cabinet thing. My husband and daughter put their clothes in the dresser and I use the closet in the bathroom area. Our park stuff, chargers, misc items go on top of the dresser. I try to be as neat as possible, because it drives me nuts to come back to a cluttered room every day.

I find that Pop rooms are my favorite because of all the storage options.

We brought groceries on our last trip and just kept the milk, yoghurts in the fridge and the non cold stuff in a bag or tidied into a cupboard.

I had food in different reusable shopping bags on the counter, and I had the fruit just sitting out (not in a bag). We brought breakfast and snack foods: granola bars, donut sticks, yogurt, capri suns, etc.

Nope. Our last trp we had a two bedroom at OKW and placed an order. Bananas, oatmeal, water milk, coffee cream and energy drinks. That's it.

With the beds being open why not put your clothes away and use a suitcase or 2 and put the food in them? Than put them under the bed. This way you get clothes organized and your food .

Edited to add... You do you. You know what will make you feel better on vacation and if that is being super organized in the room, go get it. <3

I feel this issue in my bones, LOL.

I hate stuff everywhere and being in a hotel room for that extended period of time means planning ahead for sure.

You may have already answered this but are you driving or flying? I have these at home and bring on vacations when I am driving. Flying is a whole other ball game and I just bring 1 large Tupperware container to keep some snacks on top of dresser.

We just have snacks in the room at Disney but on other vacations where we do more meals, I only give 2 options for breakfast/lunch daily. That way, I can pull out ahead of time only what is needed. Snacks, I rotate throughout the trip so all are not out at one time.

In the past I’ve brought a rubbermaid tub with a lid to store nonperishable food in. Things like boxes of snacks, cereal, peanut butter, bread, treats, juice boxes, etc. Also any paper products like plates and plasticware. With the lid closed, it serves as an extra flat surface. I also usually bring a couple small foldable bins to sit on the counter or dresser to hold fruit or grab n go stuff like granola bars. We usually drive so its easier to do this. I feel the need to be extra organized for my own sanity.

If you're there for 2 week's, you could always do 2 separate orders so you don't have all your food in the room at once. That way it would cut down on clutter.

THIS!! Don't order all the food at once. Get a second order. That way, you will have less clutter and can reassess your needs for the remainder of the trip. Hang more clothes. Keep socks/undies, shoes in suitcase under beds. Use drawers for food storage.
