I am having a tough time in finding a spot for Splash Mtn. We have never done it on past trips. Either cause it was too long a wait and no FP's left, too cold, forgot extra clothes. This trip it is at the top of the must do list. So here is what is we have planned for the day, any advice on when to do SpMt would be great.

We will arrive for opening (9am). I want to be at Toontown for their opening. Lunch at LTT at 12:10 pm. Want to have seats for the parade between 2-2:15pm. Park closes at 6pm for MNSSHP. Now I will have to have any extra backpack w/ clothing changes. I don't want to be carrying this around much. So in there you I have to figure trips to the lockers. This is why it is so hard to decide. That is a decent little trek back to the locker area. Any help would be great.

One more quick thing. I don't want to be 100% disheveled as soon as we get there. We are going my family for this trip. When in Toontown I want to get a pic w/ Mickey and buy the package.

I'm not sure if I'm reading your post right, but we have never needed a change of clothes after riding Splash Mountain. You really don't get all that wet...just "splashed".

I would suggest grabbing FastPasses before your lunch and then riding before the parade (if the window works out right). Either that or hope the train from ToonTown and ride it to Frontierland and Splash. There shouldn't be any running for a bag in a locker needed.

I agree with Michele. I've never needed a change of clothes. One other option for you might be to stake out a spot for the parade in Frontierland/Liberty Square. Once you have your spot, send one person to get FP's for Splash. The parade starts in Frontierland, so you'll get to see it first. Then head over to Splash, assuming your window has arrived. Even if you still have a little longer you'll have done most of your waiting while you were waiting for the parade.

Just a thought if you don't want to get wet... use your rain poncho! Also... I think Toontown doesn't open right away, more like 10 am if memory serves.

my brother and i went on splash mountain in march we sat in the middle of the log - we didn't get wet at all - maybe a slight spray.

We went on it first thing and it was fine.

don't worry - just do it!
