Where to meet at MCO?

I have to drop off DH at MCO, and realize I won't be able to go past security with him, which is okay. However, I have to pick up DM+SF the next day, and wonder where we should meet? They'll be coming in on Delta, if that makes a difference. We've been known to lose each other bigtime, so need to make it someplace simple! Thanks!

All the towncar pickups meet people at the bottom of the escalator on the way to baggage claim. I would think that would be a good place to meet.

We did this a couple of years ago with some friends....it was very simple...
Since they wil be flying Delta, they will be getting their luggage on B side.
Right next to where they pick up their luggage are big doors to get to the passenger pick up area. Tell them to get their luggage and just go through these doors. There are benches for them to sit and wait for you if you are late getting there.
Driving in, just follow the signs that say side B and you want to go to level 2. If they are waiting outside for you already, you will see them on the curb, if not you can park the car for a few minutes there and run in to the baggage carousels and see if they are there. Just remember..B....level 2...easy as pie (hopefully!)

Good Luck!

Many doors look alike. Many benches look alike. You need to be more specific about telling your party where to wait for you to drive up. Under the sign for a small airline (small so the chances are there is only one such sign) is a good bet.

Inside, in front of a specific store in the main terminal area is a good bet, also by the Christmas tree in the center of the high ceilinged area the Hyatt Hotel rooms overlook (during holiday season) is good.

The passenger pick-up area is not very big, you will see your party no matter what bench they choose to sit on, even though they ALL look the same.

Picking up their luggage and walking out the doors (clearly marked btw) that are within 15 feet of them would be much simpler than both parties trying to find the hotel and look for "the Christmas tree in the center of the high ceilinged area the Hyatt Hotel rooms overlook".

Yoopermom, don't worry...it's really not that hard, you will find them no problem.

Good Luck and have a safe trip.

Is it possible to meet arriving passengers in the Main Terminal? For example, I've made arrangements to meet my arriving family at Starbucks on Ticketing Level 3. From what I can see on the airport diagram, the trams arrive from the gate areas on this level. It is my understanding that the security checkpoint for departing passengers is just before you get on the trams.

Is this correct?

I hadn't even thought through parking vs. not, just assumed I would have to. Much better if I can pull up and find them waiting on a bench for me... Thanks again!
