I printed out my mousekeeping envelopes and filled them...my question is where is the best place to leave the envelope so mousekeeping sees them and knows to take them?
We leave tomorrow!!!! :wizard:

I always just put a few dollars on a page of the hotel stationary paper, and I write on the paper something like, "Thank you, mousekeeping!". I usually leave it either on the table in the room, or on the counter in the bathroom.

I've heard a good place to leave it is on the pillows on the bed. They are sure to see it there and know it is for them.

A tip that I read about, and have used, is to put the envelope on the (closed) toilet seat cover. Never came back to the room and found it left behind!

I do the same thing and leave it on the table.

We just leave the envelope on the table with "mousekeeping" written on it. I have never discovered it left behind. HA! One day last 2006 and trip I forgot but thank goodness the lady was close to our room when I came back so I was able to hand the envelope to her. She never said thank you but I think I shocked her. HA!

We always leave the tip on a nightstand with a note that says "Mousekeeping...Thank You!"

We usually leave a tip everyday just in case the mousekeeper changes from one day to the next. Each day on one trip, the mousekeeper wrote her own note back thanking and blessing us...it was really sweet and it felt good to know that it was so appreciated.

I leave mine on the nightstand with a little note just saying thanks. This past July we were staying at Pop Century and I left my tip with a note, when we returned to the room the money was gone but the note was still there.:lmao: :lmao:

We try to leave a tip each whenever we are stay in a hotel - along with a note of thanks.
Sometimes there is a little reply. At Disney hotels there were often wonderful towel animals. Sometimes you can tell it was appreciated - sometimes not ... and then you just have to believe that it was one of those acts of kindness you do without getting anything back - in this lifetime at least.
(hope that little philosophical sharing is not against posting guideline)

I leave 2 or 3 dollar bills (no envelope) on the bed. It has never been missed.

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I usually leave it on the corner of the mirror near the basin and it seems to work.

I usually leave it on the sink shelf in the bathroom or right on the bathroom mirror. Its only not been taken once.
