Where to keep refrigerated items if room not ready?

Is there anywhere to keep items cold if our room is not ready when we arrive at our hotel?

We were planning to get a towncar service and stop at a grocery store on the way, but some of the items would need to be kept cold until our room was ready. And we wanted to go to the park soon after arrival.

Can we only get items that do not have to be refrigerated?

The resort's bell service will keep them in the resort's fridge until your room is ready!

YUP, or bring a collapsable type soft sided one and they'll also store that and all will be brought to your room later when you get a room.

You might want to call and confirm that your resort will do that for you before arrival. It really surprises me that they'd be willing to do that - I'm not sure all resorts would have that fridge capacity for guests' stuff.

I'd buy a cheap styrofoam cooler at the grocery store when you arrive and get some ice, then pack your perishables in it. You can put it with the rest of your luggage at the hotel's luggage storage area.
