I find myself with a week of vacation time that coincides with Spring Break, (starting a week from today and ending April 6th). I'm looking for inexpensive suggestions of where to go. I have 2 teenagers, (one that drives) that will be coming with me. We live in Northern Michigan and still have 3 feet of snow on the ground, and I need to see the sun. Where would you go with only 6 days to plan??

Thanks for the tip - there are some amazing deals on that site!!

We (me & ds13) just returned from a 3-nt Disney cruise last weekend. It was heavenly after having record snow this year. I can't recommend it enough. :cloud9: It's everything we love about Disney but in a very relaxing way. :thumbsup2

Just did a quick search. A 4 night sailing on the Disney Magic (just remodeled throughout in fall) starts at just $2,429.28 for 3 of you, sailing on 3/31. This includes all taxes. Also unlike the dining plan at WDW it includes unlimited food and non-alcoholic drinks, snacks, room service. My kids would call just to have a Mickey ice cream bar delivered. lol. Seriously though, it's even better now that our boys are teens and non stop eating machines. The shows are awesome and so is their private island, Castaway Cay.
Yes, there are cheaper cruises but there's nothing like a Disney cruise. Kind of like there are cheaper theme parks than WDW but I can't go to our Six Flags and feel like I'm visiting WDW.

we went to the wilderness at Wisconsin dells. Not sunny but it would be cheap for you and a short drive. the kids from 4-14 never get enough of water slides.

I've always thought I wanted to try a Disney Cruise but your post makes me think we HAVE to go! :) Now I just need to convince the rest of the family...
