Where to go?

We are planning a trip for 9 days to disney the first week of January. We want to make three dining arrangements, one for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you had a choice to select from on of each, what restaurant would you make it? We have already thought about the Sci-Fi theatre for lunch. Thanks!

Well, there are no kids traveling with us, just two of us 25 and 27. Looking for something moderately priced. Character dining would be nice, but it is not neccessary.

Breakfast -Kona Cafe (Poly)
Lunch- CHH in MK
Dinner- Teppen Edo (Japan Epcot)

Breakfast: Kona Cafe, or if character breakfast, Chef Mickey
lunch: Chefs de France has a very good lunch, I also like the TS of Flame Tree BBQ

dinner: Boma or San Angel Inn

I have only been once to Disney and we will do these meals again.

Breakfast: Tusker House in AK, character meal
Lunch: Whispering Canyon Cafe, Wilderness Lodge
Dinner: Ohana's, Polynesian Resort.

Sounds like you want sit down for all 3. Here are my suggestions....

Kona Cafe at the Poly for Breakfast.

Nine Dragons in Epcot for lunch.

Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge for dinner.

Lunch -- Biergarten (Epcot)
Dinner -- LeCellier (Epcot)

If you are going first week of January you need to start making ADR's soon!

Breakfast: CM's if you want characters or Kona Cafe if you don't
Lunch: Chef's or Le Cell
Dinner: Boma or Teppan Edo, unless you want siganture dining then I would do Cali Grille or Narcoossee's

Only 3, for 9 days? Or do you mean 3 per day (though that would be a lot)? It might not be too late to add the dining plan, which would let you do more TS. Are you staying at a disney resort? Do you have a package booked or room only?


3 total would not be enough for me, but that's just me.

My picks would be:
1. Crystal Palace or Boma for breakfast
2. Chefs de France or San Angel Inn for lunch
3. Ohana for dinner

Dinner...Jiko

On my MK Day..
Breakfast...Crystal Palace
Lunch..Liberty Tree Tavern
Dinner...CA Grill or the Wave

On my EPCOT Day..
Breakfast...Spoodles
Lunch...(this is where it gets hard). Chefs de France, San Angel Inn, Biergarten, Askerhus, Marrakesh
Dinner...Choose one from the lunch list above, list could also include Flying Fish, Blue Zoo and IL Mulino for dinner.

Hollywood Studio Day...
Breakfast...at the Swan buffet
Lunch...50's prime time...
Dinner..check out the EPCOT options or Swan/Dolphin resort dinner options

Just for fun days...
Breakfast..Kona, or if you are there on a Sunday, The Gospel Brunch at House of Blues

Lunch...Big River Brew Pub, Raglan Road, House of Blues.

Dinner, Blue Zoo, IL Mulino, Flying Fish, Artsit Point, Raglan Road, most anything around the World Showcase.

and an FYI-if you are only a party of 2 and you to to Sci Fi, chances are very high that you will be seated in the back seat of the car behind a party of 4. Everytime we have went here as a party of 2 (and that's alot of times), we have been the "hitchhikers" behind another party.
