Where to go for pasta at/near AKL?

We will be staying at AKL in October. My DH will be doing the Great Floridian Triathlon on 10/25.

Do you know where he can get a nice pasta meal the night before if he is unable to attend the one sponsored by the race?

He wants something at or near AKL so we don't have to spend a lot of time getting to/from the restaurant.

Do they serve pasta at Boma or Jiko? He would need something pretty standard and nothing to unusual or overly spicy. Just a nice standard pasta meal with bread, salad, etc.

We would prefer to eat on-site somewhere at Disney.

If we can't find anywhere on-site, is there a Macaroni Grill between Orlando and Clermont where he can pick up some take out?

Porto Bello Yacht Club at Pleasure Island is my favorite Italian restaurant on site.

There is a Macaroni Grill located just past DTD. There also is a Carrabba's located on Rt 192, probably about 5 - 10 minutes from AKL.

I just saw that they do have pasta on the in-room dining menu at AKL so it looks like maybe we will eat in the room or maybe out on the balcony. I know this could change by October but it sounds good for now.

but IMO, it tasted really, really bad. I would recommend skipping it for pasta. Those Zebra Domes were awesome, but no quite what he's looking for.

The Rainforrest Cafe did have some good pasta menu on the items, and that's where I satisfied my pasta cravings. Good size, great atmosphere, and I'll definately go back. The is one just outside the AK, and another in Downtown Disney.
