where to go for dessert

Any recommendations where to go for dessert? We will be there, but not going to parks. Does any of the hotels or DownTown Disney have any good places to go for dessert?

Theres the Gheredeli (I know I'm totally spelling it wrong, but its a chocolate manuf. like Godiva) place in DTD. We didn't get anything there because it was to cold out for an ice cream drink thing, but oooooh did it smell good. We are going back again this December. Hopefully it will be warm enough to get one this time!!


ETA - Check out this site - it has every restaurant in all of Disney. As I recall - either the Swan or Dolphin has a Sunday Bar or something.

I would say definitely Ghiradelli. It is an ice cream shop with awesome sundaes! You could have their sundaes as a meal-they are that big.

This may not be the best dessert but the least expensive sundae is at POP Century. You get 3 scoops of hard ice cream (one flavor or three different flavors), whip cream (lots of it) and sprinkles. Oh, you also get a topping. We had hot fudge and didn't ask what else they had. A lot of people were getting them.

Ghiardelli's in Downtown Disney is the best for ice cream!! There are also some pretty incredible looking treats in Goofy's Candy Company, also in DTD. We also got some really great desserts at the Boardwalk Bakery.

My vote also goes to Ghiardelli! Yum. If anything, you can get the free sample!
