Where to go at rope drop

We have a pre-park opening ADR at BOG. Before I knew the ADR would be available I had us getting to the park at RD and heading straight to see Mickey at the Town Square this is one thing ds (2.5) loved last time we were there since this Mickey actually talks. (and I wanted to go early before we are all sweaty and tired so we can have a nice picture)

Now that we have the ADR at BOG I dont know if its silly for us to walk all the way to Main Street. I know everyone heads to 7DMT but we wont be riding that or any of the other coasters for that matter. Ds only knows the Fab 5 so we wont be doing any of the princess M&G. We already have FP for Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan, and Little Mermaid.

What would be a better choice for RD? I'm guessing we can always get an additional FP for Mickey later on during the day?

Any opinions are welcome!

Buzz Lightyear.

However, I've never been a "we already rode that" thinker.

We go to something that we have a FP+ for and ride twice (or more) that day.

-OR- change a FP to something else if you got to ride X at Rope Drop.

Have you seen the interactive queue at Peter Pan? We thought it was really cute and my grandson enjoyed it. You will not see it using a FP+.

I'm not sure about the availability same day for Mickey and those lines can't get quite long. Personally, I'd do Peter Pan first, use the FP+ for the meet n greet with Mickey.

You know, you may be right. With 2 little ones (2.5yo and 8mo) we are limited in what we can ride so it may not be a bad idea to take advantage and ride them twice if we can. why didnt I think of that! I'll also take a look and see what I can switch out one of the FP for.

Thanks!

At RD we try to find "quick" rides first so we can more in before the crowd arrives. I'd go to Peter Pan and keep the FP too. My kids love it and so do I! I usually schedule 2 FP for it since the line is so long.

actually, we havent. We had a FP for it when we went on it back in February too. We'll definitely do a 2nd ride on this to check it out!

When we've rope dropped (we use our FP+ for SDMT/Splash/BTMRR which I know you mentioned you won't be riding) we've been able to go in the following order and get through them all within the first 60-90 minutes in the park during a busy week:
Peter Pan -> Small World -> Ariel -> Dumbo -> Barnstormer (2-3 times with no wait cause my DD loves this ride lol) -> Tea Cups -> Winnie the Pooh -> Carousel -> Meet Cinderella and Rapunzel at Fairytale Hall

With so many people going straight to SDMT or Anna & Elsa now it seems like the longer wait times don't materialize as quickly at other rides now.

IASW, Peter Pan, IASW, Carousel, Buzz, Dumbo, Winnie, Jungle Cruise and if open POTC.
I went on a relatively busy day in late May. In about 40 minutes I did the following all walk on. Winnie, Tommorowland Speedway, Dumbo, Barnstormer, Little Mermaid and then IASW. I had FP for PP and 7DMT for later in day.
That said if you plan to do JC I would do it. The line there can get long after about an hour. Same can happen with Buzz.
