Where to get DVC merchandise?

We recently joined DVC!! While in the parks I have seen others with a DVC beach bag and other DVC items. I logged onto the DVC website and I didn't see any links on where to buy these items. Anyone know where to get DVC items? I really would like to get a DVC beach bag!

The DVC beach bag you're talking about could be one that DVC was (is?)giving away when you buy points. I think all of the gift shops at DVC properties have at least a small area dedicated to DVC merchandise.Hope you can find a beach bag!

You can call WDW and send them a copy of your membership card and order any dvc membership merchandise that they have and also look on EBAY, I have found alot of stuff on their site, but be careful who you buy from, some people and stores also take your money and do not send items.

They also give away dvc merchandise on the dcl cruises when you attend the dvc members meeting/presentation (you win when you get the correct answer to trivia questions and hopefully get you to also buy more points ).

We have received pens, baseball caps, bags, t-shirts, mugs, etc. (with DVC logo).

We just received the beach bag with our new member information, the fed ex package with all the papers to sign.

It seems the best way to get "free" stuff is to go to the member meetings.

It's really quite amazing that the Disney marketing machine hasn't figured out the amount of money they aren't bringing in by not stepping into the 21st century and selling DVC merchandise through an on-line store.

Thanks to all who replied, I am still waiting for my new member package maybe there will be a bag in there! If not I'll have to wait until we go on our first trip home!

I started maintaining an on-line catalog here:

You should be able to call the WDW Merchandise Mail Order line and using the info I listed on-line, they should be able to sell you any items that are available. Selections at individual resorts will vary but if the item is somewhere on property, they should be able to find it and mail to you.

We just got back from the Boardwalk and the DVC logo selection there was awful. All they had were the polo shirts and hooded sweat shirt. In years past I had seen windbreakers, caps, t-shirts, patches, luggage tags and so on.

I checked the Beach Club and they had more of the items displayed on my site. It really does vary from location-to-location.

Disney seems to be putting greater emphasis on resort-specific items rather than DVC specific. For instance, they had a wide selection of BoardWalk merchandise, most of which is already listed on my site. I'll be adding a bunch of Beach Club items in the near future.

I only started gathering info a few months ago, so we'll see how this goes.

I'll be heading down to SSR next month and if I can remember I will take a few snapshots of stuff and email them to you or post them somewhere, when I'm at Artists Palette gift shop and jot down the prices. Keep up the good work and here's to hoping for Tree House Villas to being another booking category at SSR!!

I added on BWV points 4 times and got a bag every time. Most likely you'll get the current bag when your package arrives. If you go to the DVC meetings (Wednesdays) they sometimes have give aways and drawings. I too won a bag of stuff on the cruise in February: (hat, mesh beach bag, luggage tags, pins, keychain, and keepsake book for the cruise). If you go to their WDW summer party they have give aways there too.

Nice site, TJ. They had a reasonably sized selection of DVC merchandise at AKL gift shop when we were there in January -- at least it was quite a bit larger than the one at VWL.

I totally agree with the poster who says Disney is missing a big marketing opportunity not making this stuff available to purchase online easily!

There is also a limited selection of DVC items in gift baskets you can have delivered to your room during your stay from disneyflorist.com. -- Suzanne
